today,
saturday,
august 12th, mtv aired an episode of "celebrity dream date" with the 5
guys
of 2gether. this blonde-haired girl won it, her name was "danyele", if
i
remember correctly.
basically, to win a date with 2gether, girls (this
was
filmed at mtv's summer beach house in san diego) had to go down to the
"SoCal" beach house and apply. they "trimmed" the hopeful winners down
by
inserting a certain title of a song in 2gether's c.d. single, "the
hardest
part of breaking up." ten (very, very, very) lucky gals got to move on
to the
next round because their 2gether c.d. single contained the title of the
song
that was pulled out of a fish bowl brimming with many song titles
(written on
light-blue pieces of paper). so these ten girls were divided up into
two
competing teams of five. they had to dance, prance, basically, strut
their
stuff for 2gether on stage (a boardwalk, actually). the 5 guys put
their
heads together to pick a winner, either the 1st group by the name of
"girl
trouble" or the 2nd group of girls by the name of "PMStrogen" (very
clever,
huh?). the 2nd group won, moving on to the next level.
at the next
level,
they no longer worked as a team, but fought each other to move on to
the next
round. here, they had to act out requests that the 2gether member they
were
assigned to asked of them. the 3 girls with the highest scores moved on
to
the 3rd round. at the 3rd round, they had to gain points by correctly
answering trivia questions about 2gether, their movie, and their
imminent
t.v. series. the girls with the 2 highest scores moved on to the next
(and
last) round which basically revolved around the concept of swimming
underwater in a pool provided by the beach house, picking up pictures
of all
the guys from 2gether, and running back up onto the boardwalk to match
each
2gether guy with his own "celebrity dream date."

kristin gore...he proceeded to explain his choice by calling himself a
"gore
whore." mickey was very funny (as always!) because he picked "jennifer
lopez'
ass." he explained his choice by saying something like, "i don't want
to go
out with her face...just her ass." chad picked this doll (go figure,
his
obsession with the weirdest things keeps on going). doug chose julia
louis-dreyfus, who played elaine on "seinfeld," saying how on that
show, she
always had man trouble and he would be the one to cure it. qt,
everyone's
favorite dewy-eyed youngster, picked this all-girls' soccer team,
saying how
he can't settle with just one girl so he'll take them all...and he
liked how
they so expertly knew "how to pass the ball around, if you know what i
mean."
