MY OPINIONS


*racism
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I hate and despise racism, which CAN develope into hate. Racist, I believe, is someone uneducated, insecured with his or her own identity, afraid of diversity or changes, and just basically targets at a certain group to blame for his or her unsatisfaction with life and self. The earth is too beautiful to allow such people exist. No matter if you are white, black, hispanic, asian or whatever, it all comes down to one thing: we are all human. There is no such thing as the perfect race.

*the real world
Maybe I am a part of the minority group, but I really do not like the show: the real world. Most of the people on the show are so casual about sex, too "comfortable" with their bodies, lack of traditional values, and have no respects for themselves. A mere tv show can NO WAY accurately reflect what the REAL world is like. For one thing, many of us can only dream of living in a house like the one on the show. Also, some of the characters seem to be trying too hard to impress the audience.

*pre-marital sex
You probably think I'm a very religious person to be talking about this. Actually, I am NOT a Mormon, though I'm from Utah, and doesn't belong to any church. I believe in a personal God. God is in me, and that's all it matters. One of the biggest problems I see in our society nowadays is how young people view sex. Sex is NOT supposed to be something you do with anyone and should not be taken casually. It is sacred, and one should do it when he or she is ready to make the ultimate commitment: marriage. A lot of people do it for the pleasure or because they are under pressure, after all, the average age which most people lose their virginity is between 16 to 18. That is just wrong. Call me old-fashioned or close-minded, I believe sex means your love for that special someone is so strong that you want to give a part of yourself to him or her. Thus, I really do admire Jessica Simpson...it really is worth the wait.

*boybands
I don't care what the critics say about boybands, I love them, with the exception of nsync and o-town. (Don't ask me why, I can write a 10 pages report for ya) What's wrong with music that makes people happy? Just because there are couple good-looking guys in a group, playing pop music and dancing their butts off to entertain the audience, that doesn't make them fake. BSB and BBMak sure don't deserve all those craps. So there, leave my boys alone!

*christina/britney
Some of you are gonna hate me for saying this, but Britney Spears doesn't deserve to be a singer. There is no doubt she is a good dancer...then go be Janet's or Christina's back-up dancer. (ooh..that's kinda mean) As for Christina, that girl CAN sing. Some people say she tries too hard to impress..but how can she not, when pop-music has been degraded by so many? If I have a voice like hers, I would do the same. Christina has to be one of the most passionate singers I've seen. By the way, that girl is SO pretty without all those layers of make-up. She definitely has naturally beautiful features as far as I concern.
