Note From Sandy

Hey fellow 2Ge+herites!

Thanks for sticking with me!  Sorry for this super-long issue...LOL, it's REALLY long!  Before you venture forth, however, I'd like to point out a few things that are special to Issue 6:

1. I've visited several message boards in the past two months and have been frightened by the number of Michael Cuccione fans who are dealing improperly with his death.  If you are having problems and don't know where else to turn, please call the National Grief Hotline at 1-800-826-3632.  The call is free, and talking about your feelings is much more productive than drinking them away, etc.

2. I’d like to highlight a homepage -- the most awesome Officially Authorized Evan Farmer Fan Site (www.EvanFarmer.cc).  It's got just about everything you could want in a 2Ge+her homepage -- including a forum, where you can leave messages for Evan himself (and yes, he does visit...and yes, he often answers via the forum, so keep checking) -- and it's updated almost every day!

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL'S FAMILY

Message:    "To Everyone That Is Feeling The Loss Of Michael"

We understand the shock for everyone in Michael's passing. The outpouring of love and emotion for Michael has left us overwhelmed. We are extremely grateful for all donations to Michael's foundation. As his family we have appreciated every day we were blessed to have Michael with us. You can only imagine the loss we feel. The source of our strength each day is the courage Michael taught us in life. He was the most courageous, loving person we will ever know in our lives. Michael's incredible passion for life was written all over his beautiful face. His inside beauty was even more spectacular. People who knew Michael even for a minute felt something very special. People who haven't had the chance to meet Michael but feel they knew him felt something that can't be described. He had a huge impact in all of our lives for a reason. God chose Michael to do a job. Some people take 30, 60 or 80 years to accomplish what God has for them to do. Michael was a fast learner. He accomplished everything in only sixteen years. Oh how I prayed things could have been different. Michael would say 'I will see you again when God calls you home.' He would tell everyone to live life as a gift. Make a difference in this world by being the best you can be. Respect your health and live life to fullest because life is short. Think good thoughts, and don't forget to smile alot. I believe if we could all say something to Michael it would be 'Thank you Michael, for changing our lives in such a positive way. And we love and miss you so much.' Our wish as a family and our wish for you is to continue to do what Michael has inspired us all to do!!!

Love to all,

Domenic, Gloria, Sophia, and Steven Cuccione

Mrs. B made this statement regarding the cancelation of the 2Ge+her series:

"Noah and the rest of the guys received a letter last week notifying them that MTV was not going to continue the series. This is good news and bad news. The bad news -- we will miss the guys goofing around with each other, the crazy songs, and all the 2Gether stuff. The good news -- the guys, Noah included, can move on to bigger and better things. Noah already has some plans and offers which we cannot discuss yet; however, you will find out here first." (Source: www.NoahsMom.com)

Evan Farmer made this statement on 03-09-01 regarding the cancelation:

"It's 8:45 AM London time and...only hours ago MTV contacted each of our representatives to inform us that MTV has cancelled the series...I sincerely believe that this decision was made far more difficult due to all of your flattering letters, petitions, and support.  We can't thank you enough for caring so much about 2Ge+her."  (Source: www.evanfarmer.cc)

Note that these statements indicate the cancellation of the series but not of 2Ge+her.  The guys have just returned from overseas promo, where 2Ge+her's popularity remains strong, and MTV Europe (along with MUCHMUSIC in Canada) is running repeats of the movie and all the shows.

3.

A few days ago, when I e-mailed The Disney Channel concerning Johnny Tsunami, a movie in which Noah (Chad) appears, I received this response:

"The film you requested is not available for purchase on video nor is it scheduled for broadcast on Disney Channel at this time.  We have forwarded your comments to our programming department for their future consideration."

You can pre-order 2Ge+her: The Movie (to be released by MTV on May 8) at cdnow.com.

You can pre-order the new 2Ge+her book (to be released by MTV in June) at Amazon.com.

(Make sure, when pre-ordering, that you have a credit card with you and that you have permission to use it.)

For more information on these items, stay tuned!

Want a 2Ge+her doll?  They may be on their way to a store near you!  MTV had been preparing to release the dolls a while ago, but Michael became ill and they postponed the project.  Now, the prospects are up again.  Because of the cancellation of the series, they may only be released overseas, but that's just a prediction.  Make sure to check back here for future updates on this exciting news!  (Source: www.hang2gether.com)

6.

Awesome interviews with Noah Bastian and Kevin Farley are featured in the April '01 issue of Popstar! (pp 86-89).  Also inside are two full-paged color posters of all five members.

("After this feature was set, we learned of Michael Cuccione's untimely death.  We will have a tribute in our next issue.  RIP.")

7.

Rumour has it that Paramount is interested in filming a movie based on Michael Cuccione's life.  Actor David Hasselhoff, a close friend of Michael's, is reportedly pushing for this project.  Stay tuned for further details.  In other news, Michael reportedly recorded a few songs before January that may be finished by the guys of 2Ge+her.  Sound ridiculous?  It may be, but don't give up hope for another 2Ge+her album just yet -- I mean, the Beatles keep releasing! Last night on 2Ge+her: The Series, the guys argue just before showtime about who wrote I Gave My 24/7 To You (and, therefore, who can introduce it to the audience during the show).  Each gives his own detailed testimony while Doug warms up the crowd: Chad had written it for Robot Dog (given him by Doug), Mickey had written it about Daisy (a pro-boxer he dated), and Jerry had written it about Mya (after a press-related date and subsequent break-up).  Even Doug says that he had written it in jealousy of Robot Dog!  After all the bickering, however, QT calls via speaker phone, admitting that all the guys had helped -- but that it was actually QT who had organized everybody's experiences into a song.  With no further ado, the five play I Gave My 24/7 To You to a packed arena: Doug a banana, Jerry a tomato, Chad a pineapple, Mickey a watermelon, and QT a bunch of grapes.

Quote/Fun Fact

Question: If the five of you were stranded on a desert island, who would you eat first?

Noah Bastian: Evan!  [laughs]  I don't know...I would just eat Evan first.

Lyrics

4. Visualize (QT's Solo)

from "2Ge+her"

Written by Michael Cuccione and Russell Marsland

Produced by Steve Smith and Anthony Anderson for TrackWorks Productions

Published by Michael Cuccione/Russell Marsland

Sometimes, we must live the darkness

In order to see through the light.

We must visualize.

CHORUS:

Close your eyes.

Visualize

The most beautiful girl that could be.

Just one sight.

Mesmerize.

It's like gazing right into the sea (right into the sea).

Floating down the street,

She stands out like a candlelight.

When I look in her eyes

I know, not having sight

Couldn't chain this feeling.

So I walk towards her

With a vision in my mind.

With a hand on my face

and a smile on hers,

I softly say goodnight.

CHORUS

Never dreamt of one who possessed

This gift of gold (gift of gold).

She sees beyond through the darkest clouds.

She knows my soul.

Will she be my girl?

Is she of this world?

Will I ever know?

When that time is right,

She will be my light.

She is my angel.

CHORUS

With the touch of the sand

From a far-away land...

Gazing at perfection

In the palm of my hand...

A touch from her face...

That far-away place...

There's no one above her,

Her spirit and grace!

CHORUS (2X)

QT (over chorus):

Yeah I'm walking

In the misty air.

In my mind my baby is there.

Having you in my life

Is my only care,

Sooner so that we can dream.

CHORUS (fade to end)

IN THE FUTURE...

I warned you.  That was a mammoth issue, wasn't it?  Sorry 'bout that.  Well, I'm sorry for the bad news about the series.  However, I think we can push through this -- and yes, 2Ge+her 2day will still come out weekly to keep you updated on the seperate projects that Kevin, Noah, Alex, and Evan will pursue "on the side."  Until next time (unless you e-mail me with comments...which you should feel free to do), enjoy yourselves and keep it real!
