Here is an excerpt from my most recent correspondence from
Ashley Kleinknecht, an employee of The Michael Cuccione Foundation, who can be
reached with questions at michaelcuccionefoundation@hotmail.com:
"Gloria Cuccione is somewhat disappointed in the fans
that sell things for their own benefit.
She told me the Michael would be disappointed and outraged if he heard
this. Selling things on eBay and other
internet auctions is awful and is beginning to bother her. Many organizations claiming to have
connections to the foundation who promise fans that their money goes to the
foundation often are lying, and the money doesn't get there. If the fans do not want the things, they
should not sell them. People are making
money off of things (big bucks!) that could be something precious to Michael or
the other members of 2Ge+her.
Since I am part of the foundation and all money raised goes
to the foundation, I am eligible to auction items off. Gloria said that this is an awful thing to
do for yourself. Michael would be very
disappointed that his fans would rather benefit themselves then support his
foundation.
On to the brighter side of things, I will soon be selling
Michael's CDs and books, and I am also having T-shirts ($25) and buttons ($.50)
made similar to the ones sold at the WBLI Summer Jam. The logo on the shirt will have Michael holding a teddy bear, and
it will say "The Michael Cuccione Foundation 'Making A Difference'
2001." Noah pictures are still up
for grabs as well as autographed Nigel Dick CDs."
Ashley also affirmed that she and Gloria (Michael's mother)
believe in Project Michael and cannot wait to see the money at the
foundation! Go team!

--The Cuccione's dinner will take place at the Italian
Cultural Center in Vancouver, Canada on September 22. Tickets will be $60.00.
More information on this event will be posted at
www.makingadifference.org as the sale date approaches. The dress code will be mid-formal, with a
shirt and tie for boys and a dress for girls.
As has been reported by Michael's former agent, Kristina Van De Walle,
there will be live and silent auctions and a 50-50 draw in addition to a
wonderful meal.
--Another dinner with profits going toward the foundation
will be held in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada on October 27. A recording of this dinner's presentation
will be sent directly to the Cucciones.

several unheard songs that Michael had recorded before December (hopefully

and some from 2Ge+her. The producer of
this recording is unspecified.
--MTV has officially agreed to produce the movie about
Michael's life which is currently being scripted. David Hasselhoff is helping with the film and may even appear in
it. Los Angeles and Vancouver are
potential filming locations, and rumour has it that, although no auditions have
been held yet, they may begin casting in New York City within the upcoming months. The movie is said to feature not only
Michael's story but also backgrounds on Stephan, Sophia (her first kiss,
