Updates

NEW!

--Member Sarah at Moody3148@aol.com has created a club to raise money for The Michael Cuccione Foundation called "Money4Michael."  Each US state will have a leader or two, and these leaders will conduct promotional events within their state to raise money for Michael's cause.  This is a non-profit organization, and all are welcome to join.  Simply register yourself with a free yahoo.com account and then see http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/money4michael for more information.

--Once you've got a free yahoo.com account created, you can also join Erika at O5MC@noahsmom.com's yet-to-be-confirmed-"official" Kevin Farley Fan Club by visiting http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/kevfarley.

--Oh, and don't forget to join member Kelly's group, "awesum2gethrluvrs," by visiting http://groups.aol.com/join?cert=awsum2gethrluvrs,4,28,dk5T9M63x3Nwozd3n4IQnyHrxbDTlwIH!

NEW!

Trying to follow the changes at noahsmom.com?  Me, too.  Let's try and re-cap this week's events:

--A new link has been added called "Noah Stuff and Associated Friends."  Through this, you can link to The Noahsmom.com Store and the information about purchasing Noah items (autograph, CD).

--Noahsmom.com had tried to retire the old autographed pictures, but fans weren't happy with that, so the old ones are now available again for a limited time.  There are now two pictures and one old picture to choose from, so when you order yours for $5 US cash or check, $6 US international, or $10 Canadian, you must now specify which picture you would like (#1, #2, or #3) from the related link on www.noahsmom.com/noahstuff.htm.

--A new section, called the "Hot New Stuff Section," will be updated soon.  This is where the newest changes to the website will be announced.

--On 06-27-01 at 19:26, Mr. B posted this message:

"New website back, but some things never change!!

I just spent the last four hours putting up the old website for old time sake. Have fun with it. I guess you didn't like the fact that I took down the Michael memorial. It was just meant to be a short time thing. I'm sorry if you were offended by it. Unfortunatly life has to move on. We all loved Michael. When I put the picture of Haley and Michael back up I had to stop a minute and think, I can't believe he is gone. Don't worry, he is gone but never forgotten. I'm just trying to do what you all seem to want but the website can't continue to be so big.

Thanks for your support and please try to get along better.

We Love you all,

The B's"

Also, on the front page, this message was posted:

"Sometimes new isn't always best. How about a return to the old and faithful! Back by popular demand for a limited time, the old website. Hope you enjopy it!!!!!"

Joanna, webmistress of the almighty evanfarmer.cc, has decided to make a birthday site (instead of a book, as I have said in the past) for Evan (Jerry) that will include birthday messages from fans and friends.  Would you like to add your two cents?  Compose a birthday message within the next 20 days and e-mail it to Joanna at evanfarmer_site@yahoo.com!

--Include your name, e-mail address, and location along with your entry.

--Please do not write everything in caps, and make a conscious effort to be at least somewhat gramatically correct (so that Joanna wouldn't be forced to edit it).

NEW!

On Saturday, 06-23-01, there was a Bluey Day event at Metrotown Mall in Burnady, BC, where firemen, police officers, ambulance paramedics, and other emergency attendants shaved their heads to raise money for BC's Children's Hospital and The Michael Cuccione Foundation.  Vancouver Television was there to cover the event.  Between 40 and 50 men, women, and children shaved their heads for this great cause.  Michael Cuccione, Sr., Michael's uncle, and Domenic and Gloria Cuccione, Michael's parents, were also in attendance to observe a moment of silence for Michael and to see over $1,000 raised!  (Domenic made a speech: "When Michael was still here, I told him I would shave the last three hairs on my hair for him, and he said, 'No Dad, I don't want you to do that for me,' but Michael didn't say anything about my mustache...so if you guys here in the mall right now can raise $1,000, I will shave off my mustache I've had since I was 18."  It didn't take long for the money to be raised, and Gloria was supportive when Domenic's mustache came off.  Although a bit breathtaken to see her husband mustache-less, she soon shrugged and said that he had his son's lips.)  Behind the goings-on (including a woman named Jenna who told a heartfelt story of how she lost nearly her entire family to cancer and had beaten it herself, then shaved her head), a massive pictures of Michael from MTV sat with one candle burning in front of it.  After the head-shaving, a Luau After-Party picked up the mood, including a barbeque and DJs that played Name That Tune.

The next day, Sunday, 06-24-01, a private, invitation-only golf-a-thon was held.  (It is believed that there were several celebrities in attendance.)  Michael's agent, Kristina Van De Walle, had only good news to report afterwards: the event was a super-success! (Source: Teresa at sugarball@direct.ca, Ashley at spinny_princess56@hotmail.com)

NEW!

Steven Cuccione, Michael's younger brother, attends most of the Cucciones' fundraising events (although he did not participate in Bluey Day), although Sophia, his older sister, does not.  Michael Cuccione Sr., however, is present at the majority of the Cucciones' public appearances. (Source: Ashley at spinny_princess56@hotmail.com)

NEW!

Here is some information on a few Canadian fundraisers for The Michael Cuccione Foundation! (Source: Ashley Kleinknecht at spinny_princess56@hotmail.com)

--The Cuccione's dinner will take place at the Italian Cultural Center in Vancouver, Canada on September 22.  Tickets will be $60.00.  More information on this event will be posted at www.makingadifference.org as the sale date approaches.  The dress code will be mid-formal, with a shirt and tie for boys and a dress for girls.  As has been reported by Michael's former agent, Kristina Van De Walle, there will be live and silent auctions and a 50-50 draw in addition to a wonderful meal.

--Another dinner with profits going toward the foundation will be held in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada on October 27.  A recording of this dinner's presentation will be sent directly to the Cucciones.  Tickets are currently selling quickly for $35.00 a person.  To attend, e-mail Ashley at spinny_princess56@hotmail.com ASAP!  Noah Bastian has sent autographed pictures to be auctioned off at this dinner with all money going toward the foundation.  Members of 2Ge+her 2day can bid on these as well by e-mailing Ashley.  (One was sold recently for $53 Canadian, and one will be placed on eBay.com today.  Once the one on eBay is sold, two autographed pictures remain for bidding.)

NEW!

Kohls has made this statement when e-mailed: "Sorry...we are sold out of 2Ge+her dolls and we have no plans to carry them again."  When I called the Kohls locations that once stocked 2Ge+her dolls, each told me that they are no longer available.  If you still know of a location that has some left, please let me know (subj: Buy Dolls Here). (Source: Sarah at QtKity182@aol.com)  On a side note, these dolls have been popular items on eBay.com in recent weeks.

If you'd still like to learn more about 2Ge+her dolls, the PlayAlong Toys 2Ge+her site at www.playalongtoys.com/2gether/index1.htm has several pictures of each doll, and for my descriptions and a picture of my Kevin (Doug), Evan (Jerry), Alex (Mickey), and Noah (Chad) dolls, feel free to e-mail me (subj: What Do The Dolls Look Like?).

There is exciting news from Gloria Cuccione (according to Ashley Kleinknecht at spinny_princess56@hotmail.com):

--A CD will be released in the near future and features several unheard songs that Michael had recorded before December (hopefully "Whether Life Is Sun Or Rain" and "Learning From The Best") and some from 2Ge+her.  The producer of this recording is unspecified.

--MTV has officially agreed to produce the movie about Michael's life which is currently being scripted.  David Hasselhoff is helping with the film and may even appear in it.  Los Angeles and Vancouver are potential filming locations, and rumour has it that, although no auditions have been held yet, they may begin casting in New York City within the upcoming months.  The movie is said to feature not only Michael's story but also backgrounds on Stephan, Sophia (her first kiss, specifically), and the rest of his family. (Source: TVT intern Maria Theresa Gaudiosi at mikesshiningdownonme@noahsmom.com)

7.

For a limited time, "2Ge+her: The Movie" can now be purchased!  (It may also be known as "Boyband: The Movie" in your area.)  Featuring exclusive interviews, part of their 03-28-00 TRL appearance, the U+Me=Us (Calculus) video, and a brief tribute to Michael, the video will only be available until all of the currently recorded copies are sold.  Buy yours "2day," before they run out!

The movie has been released can be purchased on Amazon.com and cdnow.com ($10.38 VHS/$13.99 DVD on cdnow.com and $12.98 VHS/$19.98 DVD in stores).  If you feel unsure about ordering online, however, here are a few places that will order them for you: Tower Records, Media Play, Suncoast, Record Town, Barnes and Noble, and Blockbuster. Alex Solowitz (Mickey) reportedly told someone to send mail to MTV and request their continued support of 2Ge+her.  Hey...it couldn't hurt.  For the three recommended addresses, e-mail me here (subj: Where Can I Write In Support?).

Quote/Fun Fact

"Remember the night

You said it's all right

To stay out until the morning?

We drove to the pond

And we kept our clothes on,

But the cops still gave us a warning.

Your dad was afraid I'd hurt you

When you were seven hours

Past your midnight curfew.

We didn't care;

It was a great date

In the spring of '98."

Lyrics

2. Make A Difference

from "Make A Difference"

(Michael Cuccione)

I wanna make a difference in this world.

Reach out the sky...

See a difference in my eye...

To make the difference in this world,

May God make the tears drift away.

Make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

Oh, make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

I wanna make a difference in this world.

If we all do our part we can make a brand new start.

To make the difference in this world,

Let's try to understand and reach a hand.

Make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

Make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

Oh, make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

(Make this world a place of God.)

Oh make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

(Make this world a place of love.)

I wanna make a difference in this world.

I want to stay strong and see things come along.

To make the difference in this world,

I feel in my soul we can't go wrong.

Make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

Make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

Oh, make a difference...wait and see...

There's a love in you and me.

Oh, make a difference to the world.

Tell the boys and the girls.

(repeat, fade out)

IN THE FUTURE...

from "Make A Difference"
