Note From Sandy

Hey fellow 2Ge+herites!

There's not much to say up here other than THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!  I was *blown away* on Sunday to receive a cluster of new members, bringing our total to 289!  ::waving quickly at all of the new members::  In addition, more people are sending to Project Michael than ever before.  Whenever I think you guys are at your best, you always seem to get better!  I guess what I'm trying to say is, "Thanks for being the best members out there!" and I hope you enjoy the newsletter today.  Remember, don't be afraid to e-mail me with any comments/questions (subj: Hey U, Listen Up) that you might have concerning anything below or anything about 2Ge+her.

1. I know that you've sat at your computer for hours after listening to the man say "You've Got Mail!" and wondered, "Wouldn't it be great if a guy from 2Ge+her was saying that instead?"  No need to get yourself down anymore, my friends!  E-mail me (subj: System Sound Suggestion) with your favorite quotes from the movie or series, and I'll record them as system-sound-compatible .wav files to be sent out in later issues!

2. Are you a Canadian resident?  E-mail me (subj: I'm From Canada) so that I can serve you better!

3. If you have a 2G doll, please let me know where you got it (subj: I Bought My Doll At...) so that other fans can have the pleasure of owning one, too.

What? picture

Who? What a riot!  Look at those kids by Kevin's feet -- staring up at him in complete awe.  I suppose I would be, too.  This picture is of Kevin in at the Kenmore High School concert as Doug.

Quote/Fun Fact

Question: What do you think of Carson Daly?

Alex Solowitz (Mickey): I was expecting him to be a total spazz because, you know, when you’re big and famous, you can tend to act like a dick—how can you not?  But I was pretty impressed with how cool he was.  He’s one of the most down-to-earth people for being where he is.

Question: Did you ever meet him while he was wearing that black fingernail polish?  What’s up with that?

Alex: Yeah, and do you want to know why he does that?  Because even I asked him, "What’s up with the nail polish?"  Then he told me he used to, when he was a DJ, paint his nails a different color for each band member he was interviewing on the air.  That way the station’s engineer knew which band member’s microphone to turn up by the color of fingernail that Carson held up -- kind of like signals.

Lyrics

6. I Gave My 24-7 To You

from "2Ge+her Again"

(Tony Battaglia, Henry Gross)

ALL:

You said jump.  I asked how high.

You made the rules that we loved by.

And now I've find I've made a Frankenstein.

I spoil you rotten night and day.

I always let you get your way.

I did the crime.

(MICKEY: Oh, I did the crime.)

Now I'm doing time.

(MICKEY: I'm doin'...)

ALL (with MICKEY loudest):

Baby...

QT:

For showin' you I care, I'm tearin' out my hair.

ALL (with MICKEY loudest):

Baby...

QT:

You never do your share.  You know it isn't fair.

CHORUS 1 (ALL with CHAD improvising):

I gave my 24-7 to you, doin' everything you wanted to.

I bought you sushi and yogurt, too.

You bought a ringer just to put me through.

Girl, you know that it's true.  I gave my 24-7 to you.

ALL:

Every time that we're alone, you sit there talking on the phone.

It never ends.

(MICKEY: Never ends...)

Now I hate your friends.

(MICKEY: Oooo...)

Every time I tell you 'no'...

(CHAD: Tell you 'no'...)

You're quick to tell me where to go.

I'd leave it all

(MICKEY: I'd leave it all...)

If I had your balls.

(MICKEY: Ooo, yeah...)

ALL:

Baby...

QT:

I let you wear the pants.  You wore out the romance.

ALL:

Baby...

QT:

You never miss a chance to tell me I can't dance.

CHORUS 2 (with CHAD improvising):

I gave my 24-7 to you, doin' everything you wanted to.

I bought you Prada and Old Navy, too.

You never wear 'um.  Now I'm feeling blue.

Girl, you know that it's true.  I gave my 24-7 to you.

MICKEY and CHAD in a round:

Baby, it's true.

And there'll never ever ever ever ever never be another one like you!

CHORUS 3 (with CHAD improvising):

I gave my 24-7 to you, doin' everything you wanted to.

I bought Britney and Limp Bisquit, too.

You sold 'um back for money that I blew.

Girl, you know that it's true.  I gave my 24-7 to you.

CHAD:

Whoa-oa-oa-oooaaaa!
