My Review: What do you know, this episode turns out actually better than I have expected. I didn't find it too appalling, except the "Giraffe-like" grunting and moaning. In fact, I am beginning to understand Kevin and his desperateness. "All my life, I've been the one didn't get picked. Passed over on the playground, alone at the dances. And finally, here is a woman - an attractive woman, who picked me." It is indeed very hard to be alone without that special someone. Sure friendship should always come before love as according to Evan (episode 6); however, your life is not complete without someone you are willing to share you life with, to love forever, to wake up every morning seeing his/her refulgent smile. I do pity Kevin and every man DOES have his needs. If someone would only look beyond his outward appearance. Let's be optimistic here (after all, there's a great possibility between Liz and Kevin), since beauty IS seen in the eyes of the beholder - something that the outsiders might not always understand. I am wishing Kevin the best!
Let's talk about Evan, man, he really has been working out! He looks fantastic and healthy! Good for him! You know what is very wrong: how can someone look SO perfect even when he's sleeping? Maybe Evan is an exception. Oh, here is another thing I don't understand. Why is Evan's bedroom all of the sudden becomes this make-out place? First his dad, and now Kevin? Who's next? (please don't tell me it's Erin. LOL) And what's UP with those condoms found in his room? Okay, I know why. Alex happens to have a very small room and doesn't have enough space for those stuffs. So, Evan, the kind-hearted person he is, decides to help out! That must be it! (If you are laughing right now, STOP IT! I have faith in Ev.)
As Evan mentioned before, he has a lot in common with his "Jerry" character. For instance, see how Evan (Jerry) keeps other factors away from "defiling" his work? He is so committed and serious. That's what gets you far in life! And did you see that very pensive, interesting expression on Evan's face when Kevin delivers his "soliloquy" about sacrificing his body for 2Gether? That look is so cute!
Can't forget the song "I Gave My 24/7 to You." MTV is smart for putting my favorite song in this episode! It sounds better every time I hear it. I love that huge Evan black/white poster in the background during their performance. I WANT that! As I have said before, I hope things would turn out great for Kevin and Liz. It's weird cuz I actually still LIKE Liz, in contrast to Lorelie from episode 1, despite of all those slutty things she did. (probably because she didn't attempt to seduce Evan.) If I were Kevin, however, I would make sure my partner doesn't have any STDs before marrying her. LOL Anyway, I give this episode an A-. (Surprise!!)
