EPISODE 7 - RUMORS

Summary: Mickey is shocked when he learns that an Internet rumor claims that he's gay---and the record company wants him to “come out” in order to capitalize on having a minority in the group. Complicating matters, a woman he likes believes the rumors. So, in order to set things straight, he agrees to appear on a TV show to make a definitive denial.

Cast: Noah Bastian, Michael Cuccione, Kevin Farley, Evan Farmer, Alex Solowitz

My Review: Sorry guys, this episode started out great (with the live performance) but ended up with some ill-considered humors that I personally did not find as funny. In the back of my mind, I couldn't help but wonder if it's even possible nowaday to watch a TV show that excludes any sexual references? Through my website, which introduces me to countless individuals, I know FOR A FACT that most 2Gether fans are way too young to understand what "masturbation" is. Being a celebrity, one absolutely has to know his or her influence on the fans. I was not only disturbed, but offended by Kevin's "post-masturbation" scene (remember, he is all sweating...forget it). Though the series did present couple sex-related scenes before, NEVER, had it gone as far as this episode. When you step OVER the edge, it is no longer funny - it is disgraceful. I don't even want to get into the whole "right where it counts" choreography. That is simply too much for me and definitely not attractive.

And can someone explain to me what does bikini have to do with chest-waxing? Girl, you are not at the beach, but some STRANGERS' living room. Though NO ONE should be judgmental, Violet just gives people an impression (perhaps a wrong one) that she is "easy." Doesn't she look so pretty when she puts clothes on? I sincerely believe that true beauty comes from one's manner, personality, attitude, and most of all, inner-style. After all, physcial beauty is only skin-deep and WILL fade away. Back to Violet, I do share her enjoyment from the movie "my best friend's wedding." That has to be one of the best "chick-flicks" ever produced. And Alex, don't refer to women as "chickens." I know it's a part of his character, but that disturbs me a little.

After reading this review, you are probably thinking: what's the big deal, it's only a TV show!! People, just think about the influence of media in our society today! It's indescribable! I apologize if you don't like what I wrote; that is me - brutally honest! However, I would respect and applaud you for disagreeing with me. Anyway, I have tried to be as objective and leninent as possible, but I can't give it higher than a C. (just for the record, I hardly laughed at all - could it be that I have lost my sense of humor?) My last words to the guys: next time you feel uncomfortable or inappropriate about doing any of the scenes, PLEASE talk to the producer, director, or whoever, and CHANGE IT!
