Summary: The guys each tell the story of how they wrote the same song. Mya guest stars. Jerry: Evan Farmer. Doug: Kevin Farley. Q.T.: Michael Cuccione. Chad: Noah Bastian. Mickey: Alex Solowitz.
My Review: 2Gether as fruits? They stole MY idea! LOL (remember the oct./nov. poll?) Evan is definitely an apple to me - THE fruit of temptation! (Goodness, I am so bad.) I absolutely love Kevin's "Banana Republic" costume, it really brings out his features. (I am not being sarcastic here. By the way, why am I using parentheses in every sentence? So Joanna, you can't say those out in the open?!) Kevin really is the best free-style dancer of the group, except I don't need to see him throwing up.
"Jerry is a fruit, this fruit wrote 24/7." I haven't had a great laugh like this for a while. Even now, writing this review in my Calculus class (so much for being the valedictorian), I still crack up. Oh oh, can I tell you how much I LOVE, ADORE, WORSHIP (perhaps that's a bit too strong) the song "24/7!" I'm like the "slave" of that song...maybe I'll have that as my wedding song one day. Man, that really is a good tune!
I like the idea of having each guy showing his side of the story, regarding who is really responsible for the song. I do, however, feel that the scene just drags on, and eventually loses its "touch" and humor. FASHION ALERT!!! The pro-lady boxer's (by the way, her fake ghetto accent is pretty bad - "When I fight, I'm not a girl. I am an opponent, a warrior.") violet fur vest is SO ugly! Yuck! And why is Kevin wearing that choker again? He looks like he's...choking. LOL (no pun intended) Also, I don't need a close-up of Kevin's hairy chest.
Saving the best for last, Evan's story, though short, is definitely my favorite. (hmmm...wonder why?!) His "most intense relationship?" And it's with Mya, who happens to have a bad hair day? What about Erin? Wait, that's a good sign. Perhaps Evan has finally got over that girl. I think it's kinda funny how he faked the kiss with Mya. You can totally see it.
Generally, the series has never been the same since the 2nd season started. It's so..."QT-less." His last episode should have ended with "Visualize," a song he wrote. (Of course they didn't that this was his last one when they shot it. What a dumb comment.) But do you think that really is Michael in the performance scene, since they never showed a close-up of him, not even during his solo? If so, that is way rude...to find someone replace Michael. By the way, did I mention how much I LOVE 24/7? That song gives me chill!!
Though I have heard a lot of bad comments about this episode, I liked it. So I give it an A-, which is the highest yet among the new episodes. Don't expect a high grade from me on the next episode...Evan kisses Allison passionately, whom happens to in bed with both Evan and Alex? That's so unethical...I'm totally fast-forwarding that part.
