EPISODE 1 - LORELEI

Summary: In a darkened room, Jerry mistakes teen pop sensation Lorelei for his girlfriend, Erin, and kisses her. This delights 2Gether's record company, which believes it can get publicity from the liaison, but jeopardizes Jerry's relationship with Erin. Also: Chad battles stage fright, and Mickey and QT look for a good night out.

Cast: Noah Bastian, Michael Cuccione, Kevin Farley, Evan Farmer, Alex Solowitz, Lauren Lee Smith, Roger Cross, Christine Chatelain

My Review: Okay, the first comment I have to make is: what kind of names is Lorelei? Rather to call her "Queen of Pop," I think "Queen of All Sluts" sounds more appropriate. I am sorry, I just don't like that woman, especially when she tries to seduce our Evan. Hello, does she think she even has a chance with a perfect guy like Evan? (I know I am getting too emotional here!! LOL)

And what's up with all those make-out scenes? We get the point! Though it's only acting there, I do feel a little bit uncomfortable watching Evan kisses Erin (Lauren Smith) for like an hour. And there's even a part where Erin is on top of him...I think that's a little bit over the edge. Okay, I know what you must be thinking, "it's MTV!! Haven't you watched "Undressed?" But this is different, "2Gether" is supposed to be some rated PG show, at least in my opinion. You know what the worst part is? I can't believe Erin says that she is thinking about Justin Timberlake while making out with Evan!! First of all, Justin is UGLY!!! Sorry if I offended NSYNC fans, but just don't even mention Justin's name when Evan is present. Evan only makes Justin look even uglier!

On another note, Alex and Michael really need some fashion lessons. Those fur coats have got to go, though they look quite hilarious wearing them. And did 2Gether get the idea of those space outfits from BSB's "Larger than Life" video? I swear that those outfits look so much like what Nick Carter is wearing in the video. Let's talk about when Evan proposes to Erin...is she insane? I mean, there is this gorgeous, faithful guy telling the whole world he loves her, and she says "no." What's her problem? But before I go on, I have to tell you how much I love the part when Evan kisses Erin's forehead. When a guy does that to you, it means he truly loves you!

Overall, the best part of the episode is when Alex tells Michael that "you're like an upside-down rainbow. Your smile brings out the sun and that's why you are my best friend." Awe...how sweet! "An upside-down rainbow," this is the first time I heard that phrase! I'm gonna make use of it sometime! :) One question: if Evan truly loves Erin, how can he not go after her and let the woman he loves just slips away from his fingers??

I give this episode a B+.
