"You can't let things get to you like that, Nikki." Assured Nikki's long time friend, Joe.

"But Case dumped me! He called me a ho, threw me down on the street and drove off in his Jaguar, I loved that car! I'm gonna miss it!" Nikki cried.

"All you cared about was his car?" Joe asked.

"No! I loved Case, and he loved me. I don't know what happened. That special romantic connection just disappeared." Nikki replied, "I don't think it's ever coming back either."

"You should have seen this from the start, you know what, what you need is a new man." Joe explained.

"What are you saying?" Nikki asked.

"I wanna be your man. I wanna know what turns you on so I can be all that and more. I wanna know what makes you cry so I can be the one that always makes you smile." Joe said.

Nikki sniffed and the tears fled away, 'That's so sweet. I can't believe it. I'd definitely want you to be my man, but I just need some time to think about it."

"Okay." Joe replied. Nikki got about ten feet away before she turned around and ran into his arms, "How can I refuse such a sweet offer. Will you be mine?"

"Nah." He replied then they shared a sweet kiss.
