"School boy crushes are innocent. But things get a lot more complicating when you're a grown man and you fall in love," quoted Brad from LFO.
"That's nice," said his friend Stephanie.
"No, you don't understand. When you're a little boy and you have a crush on this girl and you write her a note in crayon telling her, it doesn't mean anything, it's no big movement in your life---" Brad started to explain before he was interrupted by Stephanie.
"---I still don't get it." Stephanie interrupted.
"That's cuz you didn't let me finish!" He shouted the cleared his throat again, "Now, back to what I was saying. As you know little crushes when you're like in first grade don't mean anything. Well I had a crush on a girl in first grade and it's been like that till now. I've always liked her. But now both of us are mature and if something did happen, it would be a big movement in my life. She might not be the one, I don't know."
"It better not be my sister Jennifer!" Stephanie shouted.
"It is." Brad replied quietly.
"Dang, you have liked her for a LONG time!" Stephanie exclaimed.
"I know." He replied.
"Why don't you just tell her everything and then ask her out." Stephanie replied.
"I'm going to today, I just was asking for some additional advice." Brad replied.
"Be calm." Stephanie replied.
Be calm was some good advice for Brad, but he knew it was necessary for him to be calm in order to do this. He walked over to the small café in which Jennifer worked at, and of course there she was on break drinking some coffee alone at one of the tables. Brad walked in and sat across from her, "Hey, remember me?"
"Yah, haven't seen you in awhile, like ever since the end of high school, but I 'member you. So why'd ya come here for, not to be rude, I mean after a few years you decide to come and finally speak to lil' ol' me." Jennifer greeted.
"Jennifer, I've known you since kindergarten, right?" Brad asked.
"Yah." Jennifer replied.
"Well ever since first grade I've always had this school boy crush on you, and I still do." He started to explain.
"Wait wait! I can see what this is going too, first of all I want you to know what this girl wants, I mean if ya did have my love, if I was yours, are things gonna be different with us, I sure would hope not. If you had me, how would you act around me, still all shy. If I was yours, how do you think things would be?" Jennifer questioned.
"I have no idea, but I'd sure like to find out, take a chance." Brad replied.
"Ya know what?" Jennifer asked.
"What?" Brad asked.
"I think I've always liked you too, but I just didn't want things to change, so I always thought of asking you what you would do if YOU had my love. Now I know I was wrong by wondering that, nobody could be sure, we just gotta find out." Jennifer replied.
"I'll take the chance." Brad replied.
"I will too." Jennifer added.
