“Do you think Michael really loves me?” questioned Nickey Love to her sister Chrissy referring to her boyfriend Michael McCary from the group BoyzIIMen.

“Whatever. I guess, I mean, it seems like it any ways.” Chrissy replied.

“Yeah, but he’s been gone for a year now. I mean he calls and writes and everything but that’s a long time.” Nickey argued.

“Yeah he’s busy, what do you expect! At least he finds the time to call you once a day and write to you once a week. That’s actually pretty good! I’m sure he loves you.” Chrissy replied.

“Yeah, but I miss him so much. It’s been a whole year. I miss playing in the snow in the winter, going to the beach in the summer, walking around in the fall, and spring, everything.” Nickey dazed off.

“Okay.” Chrissy replied then got up to get something to eat. Nickey sat down and read a few of the letters from him she had saved.

“I’ve made a decision.” Nickey announced.

“What’s that?” Chrissy asked as she came back in the room.

“If I don’t actually see him in the next 2 months, I’m dumping him. He’s leaving me way too lonely.” She replied.

“Um…yeah…stupid decision but hey, you’re problem.” Chrissy replied as she sat down on the couch.

“Why is it stupid?” Nickey asked.

“Like I said…it’s amazing the fact that he actually manages to call you once a day and write once a week. Sacrafices like that can majorly hurt his job but he does it any ways. Think…doesn’t that say how much he really loves you and misses you too.” Chrissy replied.

“Yeah, but I wan’t a guy that will always be here for me.” Nickey replied.

“You’re stupid, if that’s what you’ve wanted all along they why are you going out with him in the first place. You might as well dated a Backstreet Boy instead!!” Chrissy scolded.

“Shut up, you’re making me feel stupid.” Nickey whined.

“Nick, you ARE stupid.” Chrissy replied then rolled her eyes, “Here you are thinking about how much you miss this guy, then how you’re gonna break up with him if you don’t see him in 2 months, then you say you’ve wanted a guy that will always be around. And I do recall you the one asking him out that very day of September 12, 1997. Yes I do!” Nickey burried her head in her hands, “I’m so confused.”

“Okay, you need help…and here’s the source. First question…do you still love him?” Chrissy asked.

“Yeah. Of course I do.”

“If he suddenly appeared out of no where right now how would you react?”

“I’d hug him and never let go.”

“Then why are you thinking about breaking up with him if you don’t see him in 2 months? And why do you want a guy that will always be there for you yet you date a singer?”

“First answer, I changed my mind on that. Second answer, I figured it would work out. I guess I just have to get used to it.”

“Good!” Chrissy exclaimed as the doorbell rang, “UGH! Salespeoples, always here.” She ran to the door and opened it, “He---oh, you want Nickey, she’s in the living room.” Obviously it was Michael. He had a bouquet of roses and a box of candy.

“Hey Nickey, wuzzup? I’ve missed you girl.” He greeted. Nickey turned around and almost passed out. “Michael?? You’re back!” she exclaimed.

“Yeah, for month or so, but I plan on spending lots of time wit you girl.” He replied then handed her the gifts, “By the way baby, these are for you.”

“Thanks.” She replied then placed them on the table got up and hugged him like she said she would. Suddenly she broke into tears, “I missed you so much.”

“I missed you too.” He replied while caressing her back, “Don’t cry.” Chrissy sat in the corner watching this then decided to annoy, she made a fake sniffle, “Oh…how sweet! Kiss already!”

Finally Nickey let go and looked at him and their eyes caught and then they fell into a passionate sweet kiss they hadn’t shared for a year. Chrissy started to burst out it tears…fakely. And so the story ends and so does Nickey’s 4 seasons of lonliness.
