And They Say Disneyland Is Where A Wish Will Come True

Katrina Love was a 20-year-old with brown eyes, brown hair and was about 5' 8". Jessica Love was a 18-year-old with brown hair, brown eyes and was about 5' 7". Both sisters were at Disneyland waiting to get on Space Mountain. As they carried on a conversation a young man ran into Katrina. They both tumbled on the ground.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" The dirty-blonde haired, blue-eyed guy apologized.

"It's ok." Katrina assured as she helped him up. Jessica was silently laughing.

"I'm sorry its just that a friend of mine pushed me for no apparent reason." Brian explained staring at a tall blonde-haired dude a few feet away who was laughing.

"My name is Katrina Love. And you are...?" Katrina introduced sticking out her hand.

"My name is Brian Littrell," he replied shaking her hand then looking at the blondie, "and this person who I don't know is Nick Carter."

"Nice to meet you," Katrina greeted happily then stared at her laughing sister, "and this crazy person over here is my sister Jessica."

"I see." Brian replied realizing they looked similar.

"We're not really here with anybody else and since we've met you guys we were wondering if we could like walk around the park with you and stuff like that?" Brian asked nervously.

"Sure." Katrina replied with no problem. They all talked about nothing as they waited in line. About 15 minutes before they would get on it hit Jessica who they were. "Are you guys in a band called the Backstret Boys?" Jessica asked. They didn't want to lie so they replied in unison, "Yeah, we are."

"Coo." Jessica replied. After that they got on the ride. Brian asked Katrina to sit by him so she did. That left Jessica with no choice but to sit by Nick, who she knew, or the old lady that resembled her Grandmother. She sat by Nick, of course.

After the ride Katrina started to walk dizzily. "That ride did not make you dizzy?" Brian asked. Katrina had no reply. Jessica looked as if she hated the ride to death. Nick and Brian were normal. "Wuz wrong?" Nick asked both of them.

"That ride!!" Katrina shouted as she nearly tripped.

"What about it?" Brian asked.

"It makes us sick." Jessica replied.

"Look. You guys wanna go on that thing and see if you get better?" Nick asked pointing to the thing that goes across the sky. They both looked up then nodded. They walked to the extremely short line and got on.

While on the ride Katrina was very uncomfortable sitting by Brian. As he was talking he put his arm around her shoulders. It took her awhile to realize it but she did. She just stayed where she was and didn't say a thing. Jessica and Nick were enjoying themselves by waving at the people they didn't even know. Surprisingly, a lot of people were waving back.

After they got off the ride the girls felt better and Katrina needed to have a private talk with Jessica. They walked away from the guys temporarily. Jessica looked confused. "What do you want?? Why are you sooo worried??" Jessica yelled.

"SHHHHH. I have a problem." Katrina scolded Jessica. Jessica rolled her eyes, "What?"

"I think Brian likes me. I mean...he wanted to sit by me on the ride then he put his arms around my shoulders when we went on the other ride! I mean, I like him, but not in that way. Actually. Let me tell you a secret. I like Nick." Katrina explained. Jessica started to giggle.

"Nick? You like Nick?" She said quite loudly.

"SHHHH." Katrina scolded, "Help me with the other problem."

"Well, it's kinda obvious he has some kinda thing for ya." Jessica said, "Talk to him about it."

"No! I'm afraid to!" Katrina replied.

"Well, then I'll talk to him." Jessica teased, "Chicken butt."

"Go ahead." Katrina replied. After that they rejoined the guys. Jessica couldn't wait any longer so she stared at Katrina, "Yo Katrina, you and Nick go somewhere, I kinda need to talk with Brian in private, ya know." Katrina rolled her eyes then walked away with Nick following her. Jessica stared at Brian. "What?" Brian asked.

"Hey, can I ask ya sumpthin'?" Jessica asked.

"Sure. Shoot." Brian replied.

"Do you like Katrina. And I don't mean as a friend but like, well you know. Well it just seems like you do and I wanna know. If you do I won't tell her or anything. Well do you?" Jessica blurted out.

"What do you think?" Brian asked.

"Weren't you listening to me?" Jessica replied.

"No, not really. What do you think?" Brian asked.

"YES!" Jessica shouted, "Do you or do you not?? Sorry."

"If I did, why should I tell you?" Brian asked.

"Because I wanna know and...and...you can trust me!" Jessica replied.

"Fine," Brian paused and thought for a few seconds, "To tell the truth I do have this little 'thing' for her and well you get the picture and all."

"Okay. I won't tell her, that is, unless you want me to." Jessica replied then she signaled for the other two to return.

"No. Don't." Brian replied. When Katrina returned she shot her sister an evil look. Jessica just smiled as she started walking, "So where to now?" Katrina looked at her watch. It was 7 P.M. and the sun was slowly setting in the mountains. After that she looked at Nick who was talking to Jessica. She sighed and once again was mad at her sister. They ended up walking to the safari boat. They were the only ones on.

Brian asked Katrina to sit by him and she had no choice so she and Brian went and sat in the back to have a talk with each other. Brian looked at Katrina who was looking the other way. "Katrina?" he asked. Katrina turned and looked at him.

"Do you like me as a friend, or are you just pretending to be my friend?" Brian asked.

"Of course I like you as a friend." Katrina replied then slightly hugged him.

"I know I really shouldn't be asking you this but do you also like me in another way? Well you see. Jessica asked me if I liked you and I figured it was because you liked me and well, you get the picture." Brian explained.

"Brian," Katrina started, "I just like you as a friend. I'm gonna tell the truth here. If I didn't have feelings for someone else I would like you, but ya know."

"Well since we're friends I can't help but to ask you this. Who is it that you have feelings for?" Brian asked.

"You promise you won't tell him--" Katrina said then was interrupted.

"Nick? You like Nick?" Brian asked.

"Why is everyone so surprised?" Katrina asked herself.

"Katrina, I'm not trying to make it where you do have feelings for him anymore, but I think he's already taken." Brian said as he pointed to Nick who was sitting by Jessica in the front. They were talking and laughing about stuff.

"You're right. But I don't think Jessi likes him, so, ya know." Katrina replied.

"You're right." Brian replied.

After they got off the ride Brian tried to catch up with Jessica, "Hey Jessi!" Jessica turned around, "Don't call me that. What?" Brian stopped running and just walked beside her and kind of dragged her to a corner so Nick couldn't hear. "I told you that I liked Katrina. Now it's your turn to tell me the truth, k?" Brian explained.

"Whatdaya wanna know?" Jessica asked.

"Do you like Nick, as in you have a 'thing' for him. You know what I mean." Brian asked.

"And if I did, why would I tell you?" Jessica asked.

"Because I told you something, and you can trust me." Brian replied.

"Guess what?" Jessica asked.

"What?" Brian replied.

"You asked the one question I was hoping you wouldn't ask. And since you're right about telling me something I'm gonna answer your question." Jessica explained.

"What's the answer?" Brian asked.

"Yep. I do. I don't care if you tell Nick but don't tell Kat. She likes him too." Jessica replied.

"She told me." Brian replied as the joined Katrina and Nick.

"Are you two talking about me?" Katrina asked Jessica and Brian, "I know I heard my name mentioned!"

"No. I just said that you were acting stupid." Jessica replied then started to laugh silently.

"What were you talking about?" Nick asked.

"That's for us to know and you to find out." Brian replied. Katrina rolled her eyes. They continued walking then joined the line for the haunted mansion. Brian turned to Katrina and motioned that he needed to have a private talk with her. They walked away from the other two. "What?" Katrina asked.

"I know this may be a little personal but from a scale from 1-10 how much of a 'thing' do you have for Nick?" Brian asked.

"Where do you think of that??" Katrina asked.

"I dunno. Are you gonna answer?" Brian replied then asked.

"Yep, I will! I would have to say a 5. At the beginning of the day it would be a 10, but I think I'd rather be his friend. So Actually it's like a 2 or 3 and I don't have a 'thing' for him anymore." Katrina replied.

"Do you want me to tell Jess that?" Brian asked her.

"Go ahead. I don't care." Katrina replied. They stood there for a moment then decided to go back to the group. Katrina had just decided that she had a 'thing' for Brian all along but couldn't admit it. After they returned Brian dragged Jessica away from the other two. "Not again," Nick whined, "Am I missing something?"

Jessica looked at him suspiciously, "What now?"

"Hey, you started this." Brian reminded.

"Well, any ways, what?" Jessica replied admitting to it.

"I just found out that Katrina only likes Nick as a friend now." Brian replied.

"And, your point it..." Jessica replied.

"Well now you have a smaller chance of getting "killed" by her." Brian replied.

"You're right," Jessica paused them suddenly exclaimed, "You didn't tell her I liked him too did you??!!"

"No, no. I don't break promises." Brian replied.

"Ok, thanks." Jessica replied.

"What, you think I break promises or somethin'?" Brian asked.

"Nope. But hey. Do you want me to like set you and Katrina up somehow? I was once told I am the queen of matchmakers and I think you two are fallin' for each other Sue know." Jessica explained.

"You are SO crazy." Brian replied.

"Yes or no?? Please!! Please let me set you two up. It's been so long since a match was made by me. And you two are soooo perfect for each other. And you like her. And the only reason she probably doesn't like Nick anymore is because she likes you now. And well... you know." Jessica begged.

"Wait a minute. She told you that she likes me?" Brian questioned.

"No, that's what I think. Now back to the matchmaking business!!!" Jessica demanded.

Brian thought about it for a while then finally thought of an answer, "You can. But, don't do it in a corny way like pushing her so I can catch her. And nobody can get hurt. And you can see what kinda rules I'm getting to."

Jessica began to jump around while shouting, "Thank you!! Thank you!! You are sooooo freakin' nice!! I can't believe you trust me!! Not that you can't, but most people don't trust me. Thank you." Jessica gave Brian a hug then ran back to the others semi-out-of-control.

When they returned they got onto the ride. Let's just say Katrina was very scared through the whole thing. When they walked out it was nighttime. They walked. "Yo, does anybody want to come with me to get something to eat. I'm hungry." Nick said. Jessica wasn't really hungry but in order to leave Katrina and Brian alone she decided to go with him. They walked off and Katrina and Brian were left alone.

"So..." Brian said trying to start a conversation. Katrina looked at him and decided that she should tell him the way she felt. "Brian?" Katrina asked softly.

"What?" Brian asked.

"There's something I have to tell you." Katrina said then blushed.

"What?" Brian asked.

"You know how I told you that I just liked Nick as a friend. Well the only reason I changed so suddenly is because I started liking you, in you know what way, and well I still do. And I feel so much better now that you know and like, well, um, ya know." Katrina explained. Brian blushed then Katrina giggled, "Why are you blushing?"

"Ok. It looks like I better be truthful with you two. I don't know, but I think I kinda like you in that way too. But, I dunno. I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything but sometimes I'd rather have you as a friend then anything else, and ya know." Brian explained.

"I feel like a 13-year-old right now." Katrina said.

"Why?" Brian asked.

"Because were expressing our feeling the way they do." Katrina replied. Brian laughed silently. They continued walking then sat down on a bench. "I hope those two hurry up because I don't want to miss the fire works at the castle." Katrina said.

"I guess if we left without them they'd be looking for us. And knowing them, they'd probably never find us." Brian replied.

"Maybe we should ditch them on purpose." Katrina replied then showing her evil glare.

"You want to?" Brian asked. Katrina nodded. They got up then left to the castle.

Meanwhile at a nearby table, Jessica and Nick we're sharing a basket of fries. For once they were actually quiet. Finally Jessica had to break the ice, "So, um, and, I forgot what I was gonna say." (Well so much for her breaking the ice.) Nick stared at her and laughed silently. "I know this might be a little personal but I gotta ask. Has anyone, well actually a guy, ever gone up to you and said, 'You look really pretty,' or beautiful, 'tonight.'?" Nick asked. Jessica blushed then thought back, "No. Actually nobody has ever told me that. Well my dad and mom told me that on my first date. I don't think that really counts."

Nick stared into her eyes, "Well Jessica, you look really pretty tonight." Jessica blushed and giggled, "thanks." They got up and started to walk where they hoped Katrina and Brian were. When they got there they were gone. "They ditched us." Jessica said sensing that it was her sisters idea, "I know Kat. She loves to dis' me."

"Wanna go to the castle and watch the fireworks?" Nick asked changing the subject.

"Sure." Jessica replied and they walked off. When they got here they found a big surprise. It was Katrina and Brian. Jessica and Nick joined them. "Don't ever do that again." Jessica demanded staring at her sister sensing it was all her. Katrina shrugged. Jessica saw a closer spot where nobody was. "Hey Brian, look over there. Right in front of the fireworks. No crowd. Why don't you and Kat go there. All alone, ya know." Jessica told him and winked. Brian shrugged then he and Katrina left.

"Are you trying to be mini-matchmaker?" Nick asked. Jessica laughed, "How didya know?" Nick just smiled at her, and she smiled back. "Nick, I gotta ask you sumpthin'." Jessica told him.

"What?" Nick asked.

"Ok, I dunno if any of my questions are personal, but they have to be asked. First of all, do you like me as a friend or are you just pretending?" Jessica asked.

Nikki laughed, "Of course I like you as a friend. What makes you think I might not?" Jessica shrugged then replied, "That wasn't the point of the question. In case you didn't notice, that wasn't the point of the question."

"Then what was the point?" Nick asked.

"You know how earlier you told me that compliment at the table. Well, I thought that was really sweet of you to suddenly think of something like that. Now here comes the personal part. Now I like guys to tell the truth when I ask them this or else it causes big problems in the long run. Do you only like me as a friend, or is it more serious than that?" Jessica asked trying to keep her cool.

Nick paused for a moment and just stared at her. "Jessica. Since you told me I'm gonna have to answer with the truth that's exactly what I'm gonna do, but then I get to ask you a question. It's like 'truth or dare' only it's just truth." Nick paused again then replied to her question, "Yes Jessica, I don't just like you as a friend, and well ya know. Now that you have the scoop I get to ask you a question. Do you just like me as a friend or is it more than that?"

Jessica blushed slightly knowing that the question was coming, "Nick. I do. I do! I do! I do!! I always have, well since I met you. And well, you get the picture." Nick just giggled at her enthusiastic reaction then bent down slightly while putting his hand on her hips. He softly kissed her for about five seconds then backed away. Jessica was left there speechless. It finally hit her that it was over with and she slipped and fell into Nick's arms. This time she kissed him, only let's just say it was a little more romantic, well actually, a lot more.

Meanwhile Katrina and Brian were standing alone, quiet, waiting for the fire work show. They had nothing to talk about. Finally Katrina had to say something. "Brian?" She asked.

"What?" Brian asked then turned to her.

"I was just thinking about the fireworks and I remembered something that Jessica told me. She read it in a romance novel. She said if you are kissing someone when fireworks go off then that is your one true love and you will be with that person for the rest of your life. Have you ever heard that?" Katrina asked.

"Yep. I probably read the same book. I can't remember the name. Either that or somebody told me. I think it's true." Brian replied. Katrina smiled as she thought of it. "Did you know that the fireworks are gonna go in like ten seconds?" Brian asked.

"Uh, no." Katrina replied.

"Well they are." Brian replied then began to lean towards her face. Katrina just closed her eyes and slightly opened her mouth until their lips met and their tongues touched for the first time. Brian's hands slid down to her hips and she put her arms around his neck. A little after their kiss started the fireworks went off and Katrina had a happy feeling inside. When they broke apart Katrina had a big smile on her face, "The fireworks went off while we were kissing. Does that mean that you're my one true love and that we're going to be together forever?"

"Yes, Katrina, I sure hope it does." Brian replied then they kissed again and the fireworks went out again. In the sky the fireworks and some smoke formed a big read heart and the words on the heart read, "Brian & Katrina." It was all part of Jessica's little matchmaking plans. She thought that if they weren't already kissing seeing that would make them kiss for sure. Meanwhile Jessica read the words in the sky and a big smile appeared upon her face when she saw Brian and Katrina in the distance kissing. "I knew it!" She shouted then started laughing, "I knew they both felt that way about each other!!" Jessica hugged Nick then went berserk because she thought that she had yet made another couple with her little mini-matchmaker scheme. Katrina and Brian finally stared at the heart and a smile came upon Brian's face, "I think I know who did that."

"Who?" Katrina asked.

"Your sister. I think she was trying to be a mini-matchmaker." Brian replied.

"I think you're right." Katrina replied then she kissed Brian again, and well ya know. They lived happily ever after. This isn't a Disney movie so the end does not show them in a horse drawn cart with Katrina in a wedding dress, Brian in a tux, and a sign hanging off the back that reads, "Just married," and a bunch of people cheering while picking up the flowers and ribbons. Instead the end has them kissing as the picture fades away. Ya wanna know why that's the ending. It's because this story is...

...to be continued!! :0)
