This lucky girl that is in AJ's heart is 19-yr old Amanda Latona, member of an all-girl band named Innosense. They met a couple years ago at a party a party while AJ was still dating Marissa Jackson. Soon after AJ and Marissa put an end to their 6 year relationship in February 1998, AJ and Amanda started seeing each other.
Even though there has been talk about AJ getting engaged with Amanda, it is simply not true, like most rumors. It's not the people's fault. It was all over the J-14 Website and it was on an issue of US Weekly.
On the official BSB Band site, tommy Smith verifies that AJ and Amanda are not engaged:
"Contrary to rumors, AJ is NOT engaged. He was mis-quoted in the press. The real story is this: Although he feels very close to Amanda, and hopes that she will turn out to be the one that he shares his life with, He feels that they are both too young to make a decision like getting married right now. And they have no plans to do so in the immediate future. AJ says that he wants to settle down and have kids at some point, but not now."
There's probably a lot of you BSB fans that are very relieved by these news(we know we are), but you never know when he might pop the question to Amanda!!
