Pokemon is an anime (Japanese animation), that is set more for younger kids, but there are some funny parts in it too.
It is about a little 10-year-old boy named Ash Ketchum, who wants to be a 'Pokemon Master'. On Kanto, an island covered in pokemon (small monsters that you can catch with pokeballs), when you are 10 years old you can go out on a pokemon journey. Ash wakes up one morning, goes to Professor Oaks lab and gets his first pokemon, Pikachu. Ash meets Misty when he steals her bike and wrecks it. Misty starts following Ash and the adventure begins...
