Digimon is an anime (Japanese animation), made for younger kids. Digimon starts in Tokyo, where 7 kids are at camp. They get sucked into a computer world called Digital World. Digi-world (short for Digital World), is full of Digital Monsters, or, Digimon. Each of the seven kids gets their own digimon, in which it can digi-volve(change) into a bigger monster. Digi-world is full of not only good monsters, but bad ones too. The kids' digimon need to digi-volve in order to protect themselves. Later, they are joined by Kari, the 8th digidestined. Mimi is one of the original 7. In Season 02, Mimi lives in the USA, and has dyed her hair pink. She is no longer a chosen kid (or digi-destined), but she helps them now and then. Mimi is no longer in the series. She has grown up, and has a son. Mimi now hosts her own cooking show. |
