Family: A dad and a lot of younger siblings. For a time, he ran the Pewter City rock pokemon gym and his household. When his dad came back, he went with Ash to fulfill his dream.

Status/Goals: Trainer, wants to be the greatest pokemon breeder.
I generally like Brock. Except in the first episodes, Brock has the same English voice as James. He is in love with Joy and Jenny (and anything else female), he's best friends with Ash and Misty (he thinks she is pretty, but he's more like a big brother to her than anything. Read: there's nothing at all between them.) He also respects the relationship between her and Ash without becoming a third wheel. I personally think he adds a lot to the series.
