Well Known Pokemon

Home

The Eevee-lutions in order: Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon(psychic) and Umbreon(dark).

Pikachu, Togepi, Psyduck, and Starmie: Pikachu is the star of the Pokemon cartoon and is Ash's faithful companion. Togepi comes in a close second with its overall cuteness. Coming in third is the underestimated Psyduck, whose psychic powers supposedly only show up when it gets its most powerful headaches. Starmie was one of Misty's starting Pokemon.

Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur: In addition to starring in Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow/Green/FireRed/LeafGreen, these three were used regularly in the first couple of seasons in the Pokemon series on tv. Charmander was the only one of the three to evolve into its final form of Charizard, and gave Ash a lot of trouble along the way.

Cyndaquil, Tototdile, and Chikorita: Featured in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal as well as in the Johto seasons on tv. Ash had all three at one point (I think).

Torchic, Mudkip, and Treeko: Featured in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald as well as in the 'Next Generation' series on tv.

Legendary Birds: Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Ho-oh, and Lugia. Both Ho-oh and Lugia were introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Suicune, Entei(fire), and Raikou(lightning): These three legendary Pokemon are said to run wild across the grass at top speeds. Legend has it that they perished in a fire but were restored by Ho-oh.

Others:

Lapras, Marrill, and Jigglypuff: Lapras was used by Ash and his friends during their journey to the Orange Islands. Marill is a cute little water mouse Pokemon that belongs to Tracy Sketchit. Last but not least is Jigglypuff, who appeared throughout the series as comic relief, putting both heroes and Team Rocket asleep with its song.

Vulpix, Scyther, and Charizard: Vulpix was given to Brock in the series to take care of. Brock didn't seem to use Vulpix all that much though. Scyther is one of Tracy's Pokemon. Charizard is the final evolution of Charmander, and it took Ash a long time to tame it.

Snorlax: Big and lazy. It eats A LOT. It took Ash a while to train this Pokemon, too.

Dragonite and Gyarados: Dragonite was used by Mewtwo in the first Pokemon movie to deliver messages. Gyarados are seen throughout the Pokemon series. Team Rocket has a submarine that looks like a Gyarados.

Growlithe/Arcanine and Chansey: Faithful Pokemon of almost all the Officer Jennys. Chansey is the Pokemon assistant to the Nurse Joys.
