Something comes hurtling out of the forest at a breakneck speed. Tail whipping wildly it swerves just in time, avoiding you with a couple of well timed bounds. You wait until the moving blur has slowed enough for you to get a clear view of it. 

    The blur is actually a feline like creature with a bright purple beak. It ruffles two amber colored wings hued to match it's coat as it approaches you.

   "Greetings, traveler." It's voice is rough yet gentle and it's emerald eyes hold not a hint of hostility.  Feeling secure you greet the creature in turn.

  "What is your name?" You ask politely.

   "I go by the name Raiden, it means thunder and lightening."

    You nod and smile, remembering the initial dash you witnessed.

    "I'm a Whorling if you're wondering. A creature unique to myself though my original home was the Whorl I now live in Cirth."

     The conversation goes on pleasantly for a while before Raiden feels the need to be leaving. He bids you farewell as he departs. You follow his example and move on as well.
