Following the arrow, you enter another room with a ghostly fire playing along the inside of the icy walls, like the other room, it is surprisingly warm though the swirling patterns of ice don't melt. You instinctively look up to see many warm, moss covered ledges and cracks. Another hot spring flows into a stream from the corner of the room, odd, pale blue flowers grow along the edges. You shrug and turn about to see a couple little creatures running about by the blossoms along the stream. Bending closer you realize that they are tiny colored horses or Crenels from Sha-Haven. The first one is a deep cobalt blue and a golden star shines upon his withers. He trots fearlessly up to you and nods his head, bowing playfully with his legs.
"Hello, my name's K'rait." He grins. "Not the best name perhaps but it fits." The star upon his coat gleams a bit as he prances about you, face resembling as close to a grin as a Crenel can get. "Come see the rest of us!" With that he scampers away toward the rest.
The next Crenel makes you grin yourself as she trots about you, Christmas lights trailing like a parade of rainbow droplets after her. Before you can ask, the Crenel answers your question. "I go by the name S'ria. The lights are for the Crenel Catwalk at the Sha-Haven Winter Fest. We're limited editions." Her tail wags about her head as she flicks the lights this way and that, causing a small light display upon the near wall. The line of lights suddenly gets caught between two pebbles and you reach down to free S'ria who frowns in mock bad humor. "Jaysen could have put the lights on K'rait, he could use the humiliation." Pol'ris snorts and marches away, snout in the air but you can tell the two are good friends. Another Crenel lightly dances up to you and nods his white head. You smile and reach to straighten his crooked halo which has fallen to the side. He rears up and you touch his little 'angel' wings clipped to his back. "Hello." He pipes. "My name is A'lak." You smile and tell him how much you admire his wings, he grins and frolics off, his halo falling back to the side over one ear.
"Good day, why have you come to Cirth?" Another Crenel, had slipped up so quietly you almost stepped on her. You explain how you came, the Crenel grins. (They seem to grin a lot) "Syra, that name, I know it." For once you realize that some other species happens to call her by the same name Syra offered to you. "She comes by a lot, to make sure the ice hasn't melted. By the way, my name's Cyiro'kori. Different from other names but I like it." The little horse grins before saying. "Syra loves every single living soul, life is her miracle." Then she trots off into a patch of flowers, disappearing in the waving petals and leaves. "Hello!" You look down and next to your right foot is another tiny Crenel decked out in blue velvet. "Nice isn't it?" The little equine nods his little head. "My name is R'ykorik but every one here insists on calling me Ryk. Not that it's a bad name, I rather like it." You nod politely tell him your name. He nods. "Well, being a limited edition isn't all that bad you know." He pants a bit. "But this is very hot, the Crenel Catwalk was so fun though." "Hey! Ryk!" Yet another Crenel enters your line of vision.
This Crenel is purple with a green mane and tail, a huge fuzzy scarf is wrapped `round his neck. As he canters forward, he lets out a tremendous sneeze for a creature so small and is blown off his feet. He is quite small, even for a Crenel size and you are amazed he isn't cannon balled into the wall. You stifle laughter and watch as he pulls himself up. "Arg." He sniffles and looks up at you. "M`name's S'out, he smiles, you think I'm small?" He grins. "I don't care bein' small, suits me fine." He sneezes a bit. "Ack, I `ate colds, make ya feel so unhealthy and I had to do the Crenel Catwalk in this condition, think `o my dignity. Ah well, it was for the best and not so bad."
The last Crenel is a mare pulling a sleigh of supplies for the other Crenels you guess, seeing you it stops to greet you. "`lo, my name is L'ynnk. I signed up for the Crenel Catwalk and go this nifty sleigh, now I'm appointed supply runner." She grimaces, an odd look for a Crenel. "Ah well, might as well, tisn't really that bad." She lays out the objects she had carried on the sleigh and you stop to look at them as she explains.
"Goldberry, very good to eat, we love fruit!"
"Moss, so soft and good for our bedding."
"And a pretty bowl of nectar."
These came from Sha-Haven. (Sha-Haven is now retired)
