Pokemon Episodes 11-20

Pokemon summaries of episodes (11-20)

#11 Charmander The Stray Pokemon
With the group still lost in the forest on their way to Vermilion City, they come across a Charmander on a rock who was abandoned. They later discover at a Pokémon center that a guy named Damien was the one who left it there. They go out to bring it out of the rain and it recovers in the center. The next morning it leaves the center. When the group leave to find Vermilion City they are stopped by one of Team Rocket's traps. Jessie and James successfully get Pikachu in a red balloon. Just as they are about to leave Charmander comes to Pikachu's rescue. Damien comes back for Charmander when he realizes Charmander could do flame attacks, but Charmander decides to stay with Ash because it doesn't want to stay with someone who doesn't care and would only use him for battles.

#12 Here Comes the Squirtle Squad!
After getting Charmander and Bulbasaur, Ash is feeling very confident about his pokémon journey. He falls in a hole made by a gang of Squirtles that were abandoned by their trainers. Team Rocket are later captured by these Squirtles, but Meowth tricks them into helping to get Pikachu. The Squirtles capture the group and bring them to a cave. They let Ash out to get medicine for Pikachu because it is badly hurt. Ash returns to find an empty cave and rushes out alarmed. He sees them all fine and gives the medicine to Misty to give to Pikachu. Jessie and James arrive with bombs to cause confusion and get Pikachu. Ash and a Squirtle beat them off and Ash catches Pikachu. The Squirtles then put out the forest fire caused by the blasts. They are appointed town fire fighters for their act. Later on, the leader of the former Squirtle Squad is following Ash and they decide to let it come along.

#13 Mystery At The Lighthouse
The group is still lost in the woods and come along a coast where Ash sees a Krabby. Ash catches it, but is confused when it disappears in his hand. He realizes that he can only have six at a time and accepts it. They see a light house where a man named Bill is living. Bill is stuck in a Kabuto costume and they help him out of it. He shows them all about pokémon and tells them about a sound he heard over the water from a pokémon that lived there. The night that it decides to come to the lighthouse, Team Rocket is there and they fire blasts at it to try to catch it. They are thrown away as usual and the strange pokémon disappears into the fog.

#14 Electric Shock Showdown!
After a long, 7 episode journey to find Vermilion City, they finally arrive there. When they arrive at the Pokémon Center, they see many injured pokémon arriving that were coming from the gym in town. They go to the gym to meet Lt. Serge who battles with his Raichu. Ash sends Pikachu to fight and looses. When Pikachu is in recovery, Nurse Joy offers a thunder stone to make Pikachu evolve into Raichu. Pikachu refuses, determined to beat Raichu as a Pikachu. They devise a strategy where Pikachu uses agility attacks against Raichu. Raichu cannot keep up because it never learned those attacks as a Pikachu and looses. Ash gets the thunder badge from Lt. Serge for winning and they continue on their journey.

#15 Battle aboard the St. Anne As Ash and the gang continue on their journey through Vermilion City, they arrive at the dock where they see a giant cruise ship called the St. Anne. Upset because they can't afford it, two girls come up to them and offer tickets to them for free. They accept the tickets and board the ship. The two girls were really Jessie and James dressed up to fool people into boarding the ship where they would steal the pokémon on board. Ash meets a gentlemen who is challenging people. Ash fights his Raticate with Butterfree. It is a close match until Butterfree starts winning. The gentlemen withdraws Raticate and calls it a draw. He later trades with Ash. James comes upon this salesmen and buys a Magikarp from him with his salary advance and Jessie's as well. Team Rocket men make their move and all of the people fight back driving them off. Once the battle is over, a bad storm hits and everyone has to abandon ship. Everyone makes it off except Ash, Brock, Misty, Jessie, James, and their pokémon. The ship sinks deep underwater with them all unconscious.

#16 Pokemon Shipwrecked!
With the St. Anne deep underwater, the group recovers and discover their predicament. Jessie and James wake up as well. When they meet up they initially start a battle, but the weight of their pokémon rocks the boat. They agree to work together to get out. They find their way to a weak point in the boat where Charmander welds through it. Water gushes in and the three escape on water pokémon. Team Rocket try to escape, but their Magikarp is too weak. They eventually float to the surface and are discovered by Pidgeotto who was searching for dry land. Just when the group are about to push overboard the apparently dead Team Rocket, they wake up. After sitting around starved for days with no land in sight, they start to consider eating Magikarp. They discover that Magikarp is all scale and bones. After James kicks Magikarp overboard, it evolves into Gyrados. The angry Gyrados does a dragon rage attack on them and they all spin away in a tornado created by Gyrados.

#17 Island of the Giant Pokemon
After being blown around in the Tornado created by the Gyrados, the group and Team Rocket land on a mysterious island. They are also separated from their pokémon. Pikachu wakes up and calls all of Ash's other pokémon out and they search for Ash. Bulbasaur thinks that they have been abandoned, but Pikachu keeps the rest from thinking that. After everyone on the island gets chased around by giant pokémon for a while, Jessie and James come upon Pikachu. They rush out of the phone booth they were hiding in to find it is a huge Pikachu. In running they find a train car and try to escape. They break the brake when trying to stop it and they keep going. Ash and the group see this giant Pikachu just as the train car goes by under them collapsing the ledge they stood on. They land in the train car with Team Rocket who demand Pikachu (but, not that big one!) They are thrown into the air and crash through one of the giant pokémon and they discover that they were mechanical. After all is through, they arrive at Porta Vista just in time for a vacation.

#18 Lost Episode #1 Holiday at Auculpo
After leaving the giant pokemon theme park the group takes a rest at a resort .Team Rocket is still following them trying to think of another way to capture Pikachu. The group somehow destroy an old man's dock outside of his restaurant and they do all they can to pay him back. They eventually meet Professor Oak and Ash's mom. They tell about a swimsuit competition where they could win money to pay back the old man. Misty decides to enter the contest. Also competing are Jessie, James, and Gary's fan club. Jessie and James lose and the competition quickly becomes a battle. Ash fights them and sends them off. In the end, Ash's mom comes out the winner and makes enough money to pay back the old man for the dock. Ash and friends continue on their way.

#19 Tentacool and Tentacruel
The Group enters Porta Vista and miss the boat to Maiden's Peak.So they walk around for a minute and see a horsea who draws pictures of tenetacools+Tentacruels to warn them.So they walk around and meet Nastina who is trying to build a Resort on another island.She tells them that she is having problems with the tenetacools and she needs somebody to go out and exterminate the tentacools.Ash and the group decide not to,but on their way out they get trampled over by a bunch of people who want to help exterminate the tentacool.Then team rocket appears and goes out to try to exterminate the tentacools,but while they do that they drop a chemical that makes a tentacruel turn into a giant one.Then the Tentacruel and tentacool attack the city.The group sends out their pokemon but lose.Then Misty runs up to the top of the building and luckily tells tentacruel to stop and luckily he does.

#20 The Ghost at Maiden's Peak
Ash and the gang get off the ferry at a port town that's celebrating the annual return of the ghost of the Maiden.But the ghost set's her eyes on brock and James and they go crazy for her.An old lady pretends to help brock and James but she fails and dissapears.Then the ghost shows up and tries to capture them but Ash and the others find out she's really a Gastly.They try to stop it but lose luckily,the sun comes out and Gastly leaves.At the end it shows everyone celebrating and brock hoping he'd find a girl someday.
