Red and Blue

A hit TV show. An awesome Card game. Millions of $$$ for Nintendo! Where did all of this come from? Two Game Boy games. The start of the craze came from these two little games. But enough about history. Let's get down to buisness.

What the heck is a Pokemon?

Pokemon is an RPG, sort of. It's an RPG in the fact that there is HP (Hit Points) and Levels. But instead of having a small 4-5 member party, you can gain up to 150( of course, you can have 6 in your lineup at a time). It features 15 different types, which can se varied attacks. They also have evolutions( better forms) of themselves, such as Charmander, a fire type, evolves into Charmeleon, and then into Charizard. They become stronger as they evolve, but they require more Experience (exp.) to go to a new level.

Trainers can catch Pokemon in Pokeballs. Within these Pokeballs, Pokemon can rest. Trainers also have a Pokedex, a mini log that records the Pokemon you catch.

Differences between Red and Blue

There is no real difference between the two. The only difference is what you'll catch and what color the screen is on a Color Game Boy. There are 11 that are only in Red, ditto for Blue. They are:

Blue
