Pokemon is basically a Tv show and a card-trading game. It is another version of Digimon that copycat! only much much better, at leats in my opinion. The story is about a young boy named Ash Ketchum who wants to ctach em' all. (get it? Ketchum, catch em'? *Laughs*) He doesn't have many Pokemon (he barely has any) but the ones he does have all *followed* him, he didn't realy capture them. But because the Pokemon followed him on their own will, their bond is stronger than any other. Ash is determined to win the Pokemon League Regional Chamiopnships and to become a Pokemon Master. His journey began in Pallet Town, where he got his first Pokemon, Pikachu. Pikachu follows Ash around, and with the help of his friends, Misty and Brock, Ash hopes to overcome his enemy, Gary Oak, save the world from the evil Team Rocket, Jessie and James, and become a Pokemon Master.
It was created in Japan by a man named Satoashi
. It took the world by storm and created a bigger frenzy than Dragonball
Z, Sailor Moon, and Digimon combined. The three also came from Japan. Pokemon
curently airs on the KidsWB at 4:00 Eastern Time.
Here are a phrases that I use that might confuse you:
Sweatdrop- the round shaped thing that appears on the character's head whenever they say something stupid, which is alot etc.
Mushroom cloud- the mushroom shaped thing that comes out of the character's
mouth when they sigh really loudly which is
also a lot of times.
