"I'm assuming you found Mom and Dad." He smiled.
"Why?" Sara cried, "Why did you do it?"
Yanking Sara out of the closet by the hair he answered laughing,"Why not? Who needs a reason to do anything. I felt like it. I'm tired of having doctors and preachers gawking at me. I heard Mom and Dad on the phone. They were gonna send me away. Now Sara...You know i couldn't let that happen could I?"
He then raised his baseball bat in the air.
Shadows on the wall moved violently....then stopped...
"Sara's the girl in the story." Nick said to himself walking out of the woods. "Her brother killed her parents and then her." Looking at the house Nick took a deep breath. "Sara's in that house. She's stuck there. But I found her body. I found it."
Nick quietly walked to the house and opened the door. Looking in he heard Sara crying, sitting by the fire. Nick walked over to her and she looked up.
"I'm so sorry Nick. I'm so sorry."
"It's not your fault Sara." She wiped her eyes.
"Nick you have to get away from here." Nick looked at her, "But I can't leave you. Can't you come with me? I found your body Sara, You're free!"
Sara shook her head, "It doesn't work that way." She then raised her eyes and looked at Nick frightened, "Nick look out!" she screamed.
Nick turned and saw Sara's brother coming at him with the axe. Quickly, Nick grabbed the first thing he could find and thre it at the man. The brother dropped the axe and Nick and him both dove after it.
Pushing it further away, Nick felt his leg being grabbed. Shortly he was face to face with Sara's brother.
Nick struggled against him punching at him. The man started choking Nick.
Nick started seeing the room get darker and choked out a "No...." as his eyes fluttered closed...
Suddenly he heard a gunshot and Sara's brother's eyes bulged and he then toppled onto Nick.
