Breathe. Just Breathe Nick. Nick thought as he tapped his fingers onto the meeting table nervously. Nick took a deep breath and tried to concentrate on what their management was telling them. He heard Kevin responding but the words couldn't register. He heard them arguing a little, discussing a few security problems, but Nick still couldn't register the words. His mind was on other things. Like, how to escape the room if need be.
Nick's eyes darted from the door he came in earlier to another door. Can't pick the door I came in, no. There's another door. If I had to, I could always run out that door. There's a small closet. I could hide in there. But they'd still find me.
Who was they? Nick didn't know for sure. He just knew they exsisted. "They" were the people after him. Nick knew deep in his mind no one was really after him. But he just couldn't shake the feeling no matter how hard he tried.
There's a window. I could always climb out. But then what? Climb the ledge. Find a way down.
Nick smiled. He know had two ways to escape. He could relax now.
"So we are hiring two more security guards." Kevin stated. "That should take care of any problems. Oh and we are getting rid of the new guy, Mark. He's only been with us for two weeks now but, he's careless." "Yeah and only trying to get chicks in his bed."AJ added.
Howie laughed,"Isn't that you Aj?"
AJ shook his head,"I'm serious! He's been telling fans to give him blow jobs and God knows what else to tell them our room numbers!"
Brian frowned,"Yeah, he is for sure gone."
"Alright now that we got that out of the way, Nick you have anything to add?" Kevin asked.
"I uh..."How about someone is after me right now and any second they could bust in and kill me!? "No. I'm cool." Nick stammered.
"Ok then I guess we're done. We got the rest of the day off, so do whatever you want. But we meet back up for dinner tonight. We gotta discuss Christmas and New years. We've been offered to perform in a few things. So see everyone tonight." Kevin said getting up out of his chair.
Nick practically leaped out of his chair and shot out the door. He planned on staying in his room tonight and the quicker he got there, the better.
Almost immediately, Nick felt someone walking behind him. Nick started to walk faster, but the person started to walk faster. He knew someone was following him now. The faster he got, the faster they got. Nick started to sweat and stopped at at corner trying to remember which way to go to get back to his room. He could hear them getting closer. Oh God. Which way? Nick started to run to the right and pulled his key out when he recognized his room number. He put the key card in the slot but kept pulling it out too quickly so it wouldn't unlock. Nick heard the footsteps getting even closer. Nick held his breath and turned around quickly.
Two girls giggled and waved at him and then walked on by. Nick sighed with relief. He looked to the right and then the left, seeing no one was there. Turning back to the room door, Nick put the card back in the slot. This time it worked. Just as Nick started to open the door, a hand grabbed his shoulder.
