"We mussssst start now Nickolasssss. Time is running out." It spoke as Nick ate some soup.

"What do you mean time is running out? And by the way, this soup tastes horrible." Nick said making a face taking another bite.

"It tastessssss bad because of all of the vitamins and mineralssssss in it. We have to put more for you than for humans. It takes more to give you ssssssssstrength. And time is running out because....there is a war going between them and us. This war keeps getting bigger, sssssoon...there will come a time when we will come face to face with them. We will have a full out battle, good versssses evil."

Nick looked at him listening,"Good always wins though in the end, so we can't lose."

It smiled slowly,"Good doesn't always win. I believe, with you, we shall win."

Nick couldn't help but smile. He was incredibly important in this new world.

"Ah yesssssss. You are just now realizing how important you are to us. Once you learn all of your talents, and aquire all of your strength almost no one can stop you. You will be the strongest of us. You will pretty much live like a king."

Nick almost choked on his soup,"A king?!"

"Because of your power and strength, everyone will virtually worship you. Anything and everything you want will be yours. Haven't you ever heard of vampire's having leaders? That's how thissssss is. No we are not vampires. It isssss the best way I could put it for you."

Nick's eyes were wide. "You say almost no one can beat me? Who can then?"

"You haven't guessed by now? Your complete opposite. The leader of them."

Nick's smiled had dropped. How could he possibly beat anyone? Especially someone evil.

"Do not worry. Once you learn everything. No one will stop you. Not even them. Once you see how strong and powerful you are. You will see. You will know. And... you will be ready."

Nick smiled on the inside again. He would be on top of the world. Well....this world.
