Nick sighed and then started drying himself off. He quickly put his boxers on when he heard his cell phone ringing.
Walking out of the bathroom he grabbed the phone off his bed and looked at the caller i.d "Private number. Damn." He answered the phone, "Hello?" then tensed as he listened, "Hi Nick. Have you missed me?"
"Who is this?" Nick said into the phone starting to shake.
"It's me silly." whispered the voice.
"You know the police have my phone tapped now cause of you so they can find you." Nick said.
The voice laughed lowly, "Yes I know. That's why I'm going to make this short. I'm closer Nick. Closer."
Nick swallowed hearing the dial tone and dropped the phone. "Catherine!! Catherine!" he called out.
"What Nick?!" Catherine opened the door rushing to him, "What happened? Did you get another call?"
Nick nodded quickly breathing heavily. Catherine wrapped her arms around him. This time Nick didn't pull away. He fell into her arms shaking and weeping, "I'm so scared Catherine." He cried.
"It's ok Nick. Nothing is going to happen to you. No one is gonna let her hurt you ok?" Catherine said looking at him rubbing his back.

Nick pulled back and looked at her, "What?" Catherine asked.
