What so proudly we hailed, has fallen down to nothing?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars have faded to the night
Over the maws of hell they drip with blood strangled from nations helpless
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in the air
Deserve to fall on all those that call this nation home
Oh, say does that Blood Strangled Banner yet wave
Over lands conquered by the sword - by the supposed brave?
On
the surface, calm repose and indifference
Where is the noble blood so shared among them all
What is that which the breezes devoid of God
Evidence it half conceals, half discloses
Now it catches the hellish eye of greedy men
In full depravity worshipped by the ignorant masses
'Tis the Blood Strangled Banner! How long will it wave?
Over lands conquered by the sword - by the supposed brave?
And
where is that man who so violently opposed
The American dream and its consequences
No home, no rest, hounded out of place and time
Only his blood shall satisfy those that call this nation home
No refuge for those wishing true freedom and life
This nation devours all and spits them out once more
And the Blood Strangled Banner in triumph shall wave
Over lands conquered by vengeance, by the supposed brave
Oh!
Thus be it ever, when America still stands
Between a nation and its freedom true
Cursed with ignorance others doth not possess
Praise anyone willing to stand up to this felony
That conquers all who oppose it, like it has divine right
And this be their motto "In Money is our trust"
And the Blood Strangled Banner shall still surely wave
Over lands soaked in blood, conquered by the supposed brave
