THE OPTIMIST
Another day begins today
Another way of living my way
As dawn comes I keep waiting
For the sunshine.
Another day keeps going on
Telling me that I am going wrong
Before dusk, as I enjoy
The sunshine.
All my illusions
All my hallucinations
Going wrong.
The sun will shine
Tomorrow again
Though life runs short
