One Day With You
What I would give to spend one day with you
My heart would not feel lonely or blue
It would be as happy as could be
For it would have you here with me
And nothing would be able to erase
The smile that would be left upon my face
And there isn't anything anyone could say or do
To take away the one-day I had with you
And I would visit that one special place
Just so my heart would have something to embrace
And to know my heart could find you there
Would be the answer to my one and only prayer
If only this one dream could come true
It would leave me with sweet memories of you
For my heart has never wanted something so much
But to feel your gentle, loving touch
So while some dreams do not come true
In my dreams, I'll have that one-day with you.
