One Chance
I see you every day but you have no clue
That all I do twenty-four seven is think about you
Every time I see you looking my way I play it cool
But underneath I feel like a teen-ager back in school
I have to get a grip because you're out of my league
But there's something about you that has me so intrigued
My breath is taken away every time it is you that I see
If only you knew how my thoughts have a hold over me
It's like every inch of me is in a trance
And I can see for the first time my future at a glance
I know I’m getting in way to deep but it’s a risk I’m willing to take
Because just the thought of you makes this heart of mine ache
So every night I lay awake looking for that shooting star
And I pray that from me it isn't far
Because you only have one chance in life to find true love
So I'm wishing with everything I have for a miracle from above
Because that one shooting star is what I want to catch
Something inside of me is telling me you and I would be a perfect match
But until that shooting star comes my way I don’t know what I'm going do
Because I can't seem to shake these thoughts of you
It's like every inch of me is in a trance
And I can see for the first time my future at a glance
I know I’m getting in way to deep but it’s a risk I’m willing to take
Because just the thought of you makes this heart of mine ache.
