Envision Far And Beyond

So many of us think in life we are unable to go far

So we stay exactly right where we are

And silently we hold our dreams inside

Afraid to see what exist for us on the outside

So we sit back and watch each day pass us by

And we cannot help but to moan, groan and sigh

For we do not think our lives can improve

So we remain stuck in the same groove

And we dare not to widen our vision

Or make some type of decision

To end the negativity that’s implanted in our mind

Making it so very hard for us to truly find

The path in which God wants us to be on

But from us we think the opportunities are gone

Since we have not been one to believe in

The hopes and the dreams we hold within

So we do not think we are worthy of

God’s blessings or His gracious love

So we choose to watch our life wither away

Instead of trusting God to show us the way

So when we think we have to settle for less

Because our lives have had little success

It is time for us to change our mindset

For our chance in life isn’t over yet

So whatever we thought was impossible to achieve

Can happen as long as we open our heart and believe.
