I visit DeviantArt  more than any other site. It's a great art community, in which you can find stock photography, poetry, wallpaper, fonts, skins, and just about anything else.

Wotsit
Wotsit's a great archive of file format specifications. If you're looking to make a program that makes files of a specific format, check this out. Only gripe about it is that if there are samples in the text files, they're usuall written for C++, which sucks 'cause I'm a VB programmer.

VB World
A great resource for VB stuff. Only thing is, I don't think it's being updated anymore. The stupid search engine won't work, so you're gonna have to browse the categories to find stuff.

Find lyrics for more songs than you can imagine. If you're looking for rap lyrics, I'd suggest visiting the OHHLA instead (below [OHHLA's lyrics seem to be more accurate]).

DevGuru
DevGuru's a great reference for languages such as ASP, JavaScript, VBScript, and others. They've even answered some questions of mine when I was still a novice. The problem is, they charge for that service and other stuff now. Damn. I should have downloaded that stuff when I had the chance.

A1VBCode
A1VBCode's not the best source for VB and ASP stuff, mind you, but I do visit it frequently to answer people's questions in the forums.

Angelfire
If you're not looking to build a site with ASP, PHP, ColdFusion, or anything but HTML, then this is, hands down, the best host for you. Unlike others, Angelfire has a great system that lets you get stuff done faster and easier. They offer 50 megs now. I'm pretty happy because I joined way back when they provided only 5 megs. I feel like I grew up with them.

WriteExpress Online Rhyming Dictionary

What? There's nothing wrong with using one--that's what they're there for. The problem is, it's not always accurate. For instance, it thinks "putrid" rhymes with "would." Oh, well.

KaZaA
If you deleted Napster because you were disgusted with how they've conformed with the court orders, try KaZaA. I'd still rather have the old Napster back, but obviously I can't. If you didn't know, both KaZaA and Napster are file-sharing programs. KaZaA has a special feature which allows you to download portions from a bunch of people, allowing for some lightning downloads (I maxed out at 170 KBs with DSL!).

It's a great porn site. What? You believed me? Man, you're stupid. It's a poetry site. Anyway, you can enter to win a great sum of money, but I submitted my crap there just because I wanted people to read them.

Supermodel Forever
A great place to get pictures to make your own wallpaper or whatever. It's my personal favorite because all the images featured on it are of high quality. If you've the maturity of at least a thirteen year-old, then you'll be fine.

Roget's Dictionary
It's my personal favorite online dictionary. It's the fastest I've seen, it's free, and it offers a subscription service. Maybe I'm just a freak, but I like looking at random words, especially archaic ones.

Hotmail
The most popular web-based email service out there. The only thing I don't like about Hotmail is that, it's a favorite target for spam.

Fantasya
A great place to find fantasy, erotic, digital, manga, and photography art. They were down for a while, but are back up. Seems they're not completely so, however--the literature section doesn't work. That's too bad because I never got to find out whether those poems and stories were in English or French. Parlez-vous français?

BorisJulie.com
The official site of Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell. Boris Vallejo's my favorite painter. He's been around since the 80s, I think. Julie's okay. She's done some stuff with Marvel, so I've known about her a long time before I learned of Vallejo.

Official Site of Luis Royo
Luis Royo's my second favorite fantasy artist. One thing that I like about his work is that it's dark. It has a sort of dark, gothic feel to it, one that Vallejo's work lacks.

Pasiworld
Pasiworld is a great place to play online games with friends of strangers, even. It has games such as pool, tetris (they call it Pasitris), mini-golf, a cannon game reminiscent of Gorilla for QBASIC, Othello, and others.

GameFAQs is a great place to get guides for video games. Come here if you want to wring all the liquid from your games, so to speak.

SegaSages
The self-proclaimed "Cure for the Common Code." Come here for GameShark codes, and general tricks for video games. A friend of mine intro'd me to this site years ago, and I'm grateful he did.

Zophar's Domain
Zophar's the best source for anything related to emulation. The same friend that showed me the previous site introduced me to this one, too. You can find GameBoy emulators, SNES emulators, PlayStation emulators--anything. The entire site is legal, too. The games available for download were developed by individuals and are not commercial products. Look elsewhere, Federal Bureau of Investigation; they're legit.

Crawlspace
Crawlspace is a network of official sites for various comics. The sites featured in Crawlspace have galleries in them. I've taken black and white line art from two of those sites, colored them, then submitted them. I didn't illustrate those pictures; I just colored them, therefore they cannot be rightfully placed under my "Illustrations" section.

The Official Site of Joe Madureira
Mad's one of my favorite artists. His art style's influenced heavily by manga, which is cool, 'cause I can relate. He's a big fan of Shirow Masamune's (or is it Masamune Shirow? Some Asian names are confusing) Ghost In The Shell. He used to pencil Marvel's Uncanny X-Men, a series which I followed religiously...until his departure. He then went to work on his own series called Battle Chasers. He took with him many fans. Not me, though.

Tab Crawler
My favorite site for guitar tabulatures. After months of non-stop practicing, I learned to play the first note of Staind's "Outside." Damn, I'm good. Nah, just kidding. I took this summer class at a university and I learned stuff about guitars there. I still can't strum, but I learned the beginnings to songs like Jewel Kilcher's "You Were Meant For Me" and Tracy Chapman's "For You."

iChef
I go in these weird phases where I become obsessed with something. One of these things was cooking. No kidding. Anyway, iChef's a great site with a great layout. You can even learn to make Pho, a Vietnamese dish that I try to order whenever I can. The problem? The recipe calls for the simmering of a broth for 4 - 5 hours! Hell nah, I'm not gonna make it.
