She knows the God's are Smiling
She looks out over the red clay hills,
the sight brings a smile to her lovely face.
She realizes how blessed her people are
to be living in this beautiful place.
She gazes upward to the cotton candy clouds,
and sees a magnificent eagle circling nearby.
Could this eagle be an omen of things to come
sent down from the Great Spirit in the sky?
Her beautiful face lights up as she realizes the
Great Spirit will take care of her peoples needs,
that by faith and hard work her tribe will survive,
and all they attempt to do in life will succeed.
