Many moons have passed
Since my Brave rode away
My heart is longing for his return
More than any words could say.

Each day I pray to the Great Spirit
Who dwells far above the earthly sky
To safely bring my Brave back home
And please don't let him die.

Although I cannot see Great Spirit
Somehow I feel his presence near
And hear his powerful voice whispering
He's protecting the one I hold dear.

Since the Great Spirit reassured me
My Brave will soon come back home
Happiness has replaced sadness in my heart
Because it knows soon I won't be alone.
