Ancient Winds
Upon the winds the Ancients whisper
A troubled restless sighing
From the north, south, east and west

Times of discontent and askance why...

Has mankind forsaken Mother Earth to die
Those that could save her will not and continue to lie

Where shall you plant your feet... oh mighty man?
When there is no blade of grass or land
No tree to shelter you from the blistering heat
As silent lays her heart beat

Her tears have dried in the river bed
While you pillaged and forgot the words that were said
Will you look for the stars on a blanket of black velvet
Only to find a gaping hole of emptiness

The gold dust in your pocket
will blow away on a hot dry day
As you'll be left searching for something to spend
So the Ancients whisper ...upon the wings of the wind
Because mankind refused to care ,to love, to blend

Walk with her , not on her.
