Arithmetic is where you have to add or take away,
Oh, I'll just love Arithmetic until my dying day.
Arithmetic is where you have to multiply or share,
So give us more Arithmetic, I tell you, I don't care!
Why can't we do more Fractions? Oh, let's get more involved,
Then maybe we'll do Problems, (just one glance and they're solved).
My chief delight is Decimals, I'll do those all day long,
I never could quite understand why people get them wrong.
Change Centigrade to Fahrenheit? I'll solve that in my sleep,
And yet some folk, they struggle, and they even start to weep.
By now, you will be thinking, "Is there no end to this knowledge?"
(Oh, by the way, my Father is the Head of Maths. at College)!
So give us more Arithmetic, so we can have some fun,
Let's miss out Games and Rounders, who cares who's lost or won?
So, hands up everybody, to show we all agree.
What...no one?......Help! I think the Class is ganging-up, on me!!!
