Miwa Lyric: What motivates you to rap? What is your purpose?
SEKAI: There is just so much to say and so much to talk about, and express! I would like to change society if I can, and make a difference. I get motivated on stage, just the adrenaline rush is crazy! The whole music scene was a dream to me, I’m living a dream, it’s a hobby becoming real? My first performance was in Japan, in the year 1995 and it was unforgettable, I mean the people were going crazy, and I just get re-addicted every time!

Miwa Lyric: What do you want people in general, as well as hip hop heads to know about you as an artist in the Hip hop scene?
SEKAI: Music has no boundaries, I hesitate to say I rap, because people ask “why?? They think rappers shouldn’t be Asian, and especially females, don’t judge from the outside, Just Listen!!! Then there are people who say “If you don’t freestyle, you’re not a rapper? but I really don’t think that, cause I don’t freestyle, but I get my point across, some folks think rap is all negative but everything I bring is positive!
