Dizziness

"Dizziness"

I spun around the Merry-Go-Round as a child
as we begged the spinner to go faster
we all laughed and screamed out loud
until it stopped and we all stepped down

We looked around searching for each other
but what had happened, I could not see
the world began spinning like that Merry-Go-Round
I could not stop so I fell to the ground

I hugged the Earth like it was my mother
squeezing her, frightened, begging her to stop
will this pain ever cease, why was I to suffer
my mother must be punishing me

Then the rush crept from my head
it headed down towards my Velcro shoes
as if my mother was sucking it away
I could only thank her with my kisses

So I opened my eyes and rose to my feet
I looked around for my friends
they were already on the Merry-Go-Round waiting to go
so I ran and gave them a spin
