Dreaming of Dragons
Dreams are such that dreams are a place to hide away,
I dream of the dragons and where the fern lilies grow,
Donna Layne Roberts 1994
I like to spend my days of dreaming of a special place,
Where the fern grows, and fairies like to play,
Waterfalls from which the unicorns drinks,
Whispering voices come from the mist,
Saying, "Come my way, here, please stay..."
Where the wings of the dragons glistening in the spray,
From the raindrops that sprinkle down from the clouds.
As the playground of fairies and the unicorns frolic and play,
A magical place that I would dream hoping that I could stay,
But the sun rises, and a wakens me from my sleep.
I stretch and yawn, "It's another day."
I will go where the fern lilies grow, and have a marvelous day!
