The Way the Wind Blows

Somewhere out there,

The western wind is blowing,

All my life I felt the tug,

It's as if I had a knowing,

The way the wind was blowing,

That was where I was going,

My heart knew when that west wind blew,

Leading me towards you,

Visions of prairie grass waving,

Beckoning me onwards homeward bound,

Somewhere out there I managed to hear the sound,

Of the west wind blowing,

Homeward bound,

Following the wind, blowing me to you.
