Poetry Princesses Humble Home

Naomi Written by: Christa Bottolfson Naomi was the best person there was. She was a friend to every one. She was never without a friend. She was there when you were feeling down. Naomi would always lift your spirits by a funny little dance or she would humiliate you in front of the all residents at the nursing home she worked at, By saying you know you were out chasing the boys all night. That was one of our little jokes. Naomi was also there when you wanted to talk to her. She always listened when no one else would. You could tell her anything and she would listen. Naomi would never say no to you when you wanted to talk to her. I always teased her about her wanting to take tap dancing lesson. We would always laugh about that one together. I also use to tease her about her attempts to tap dance around the nursing home floors and humiliate herself in front of everyone, But she never seemed really to care. I would also use to call her Nay Nay, because I could never say her name right. But when I did learn how to say her name I was always correcting everyone else. She was the coolest person that worked at the nursing home. And it won’t be the same without you working there. Naomi I will miss you always-and-for-ever Love-ya-always-and-for-ever Christa Bottolfson Dec., 2002
