Hidden Throne

an approaching bank of cloud

then the first smear races past the aircraft window

a white-out with a shrieking child behind me

a world of curves with a pale blue shading

minarets coiled on a lofty castle

a cushion path through a white puff forest

are fingers clenched behind each cloud?

who tastes the crystal sugar?

and what king reigns from that hidden throne?
