When the sun sets deep within the sky
At the closing of the day,
And darkness,comes upon the earth
Until its time to pray......
Its time to pause for a moment or two,
Give thanks where it belongs.
Its time to let your mind reflect,
Give praise to God in song.
He has give us such beauty
As far as the eye can see,
Like the flowers that burst with color
And butterflies dance with glee.
The raindrops water the grass so green,
The little birds dance with delight,
The beautiful stars that shine at night
Are a very awsome sight.
So take a moment, maybe two
To offer a thank you prayer
And reflect on the blessings given to you.
There's nothing that can compare.
