Mask

You spend your time pretending to be
The one who they all want to see
You try so hard to be just right
But end up crying through the night

You hide behind your smiles and laughter
But it`s what`s inside that really matters
They know you for who they see
But the real you isn`t free

They`ll never know just who you are
And that`ll leave a lifelong scar
If you look deep into your eyes
You`ll see the truth to all your lies

You`ve worn a mask throughout your life
Just to hide your pain and strife
You tried to end your misery
But ended up in agony

You need to stop living a lie
Or all your hopes and dreams will die
You need to take off your Mask
