Cold Kisses

Sadly, your kisses have slowly grown cold
I guess this means our new love is now old
Your eyes have lost that bright sparkle of blue
We cannot think of new things we could do

Your hands have lost their grip, on mine, once tight
Perhaps because I never stayed the night
Your arms have lost that once strong embrace
I know this means we are losing the race

You harsh, cruel words they were once oh so kind
And millions of questions run through my mind
Your now shallow love was once an abyss
You heart left a little more with each kiss

I thought we'd be together forever
But now it seems that you want another
Don't let me hold you back in any way
Don't pretend you love me for one more day

I'll let you go, I won't ask you questions
Just leave, I don't want to hear your reasons
I'll throw away all the lies that you sold
Keeping those kisses before they grew cold
