L ooking,Lerching
E veryday Searching,
T ill the day I found you.
M any fake what isnt there,
E ndlessly spiraling downward.
L oneliness can be cured
O nly by those who cherish,
V alue, and take chances
E very day.
Y ou alone have the power to
O pen your life to new people
U nsure of what may happen.
Winning Your Heart
They say quitters never win
And they must be right.
I find myself here, all in
When I know I’ll have to fight.
Can this battle be won
Or is this ship already sinking?
When does done really mean done.
This question keeps me thinking.
Am I sailing on a never ending map
Or will I suddenly find the end?
It is no wonder people snap
Hiding from that special friend.
The ocean waves move up and down
As this ship known as life cuts through.
Every thought of you makes me frown
In sorrow, I wish you only knew.
No matter how far apart we grow
It’s in your heart I wish to sit.
I will never let you go
And will never be able to quit.
I'm Still Fighting
As I lay awake at night,
I write this poem to you.
And though it is not that bright,
It's you my heart belongs to.
It's every day I take blame,
For making such a mistake.
I should not have let our flame,
Blow with a quiver and shake.
When I look into your eyes,
No matter how close or far,
My heart will begin to fly.
What a perfect sight they are.
When I see you break a smile,
Wonderful thoughts flood my brain,
Where they gather and compile.
And my heart's relieved of pain.
When I hold your soothing hand,
Telling you, so that you know,
Whether water, air, or land,
I will never let you go.
As I hold you close to me,
Our hearts beating together,
It's a sign this was to be.
And everything is better.
If your asking how I feel,
An honest answer you'll get.
There is nothing to conceal.
I'll stay even if upset.
Although I have now lost you,
My heart has not turned to stone,
And both of us always knew,
We would never be alone.
In my most outrageous dreams,
I doubted finding the one,
Who I'd cross rivers and streams,
Just to see when the day's done.
I asked what a heart was for,
Until the day I met you.
My heart is no longer sore,
And my days, no longer blue.
My heart knows not what to think,
Every day that we're apart.
I think of our past and sink.
Yet, I can't answer my heart.
Every dusk to every dawn,
I am still willing to fight,
If only you will hold on.
Please tell me that I am right.
When I feel like giving up,
I think of you and me.
I sip greatness from a cup,
And let things be as they'll be.
I'll Be The One
I'll be the one....
Who holds you through the night.
Who conquers all your frights.
Who hugs you from behind.
Who sees when you are blind.
Who never lets you go.
Who want "us" to grow.
Who'll be strong when you feel weak.
Who listens when you speak.
Who, when your hurt, will cry,
And treasure you until I die.
Who lends that crying shoulder,
Even as we grow older.
Who doesnt want to fight.
Wether I am wrong or right.
Who stays all night,
Just to make sure your alright.
Who will miss you when I blink.
And not care what people think,
About us. No matter what they know.
"I will never let you go".

Amazing Wonder
Anything that can live on,
Through thick and through thin.
And when they are gone,
Thinking of them will make you grin.
The one who shows you everything,
And expects nothing in return.
The one who keeps nothing,
And dedicates everything they earn.
As the world begins to rotate,
There arises beauty of splender.
A wonder who will donate,
All knowledge, and never surrender.
The one who conquers all fears,
If only to protect.
One who wipes away the tears,
And lives among select.

Awaiting Acceptance
It is every day,
The same old way.
I feel my heart sink,
As I continue to think.
With every movement,
A new sign is sent.
As I read in,
My world begins to spin.
Getting tired of this,
Those feelings that I miss.
Knowing what I know,
And yet, I can't let go.
What Is Love?
Wanting to always be with that one special person.
Holding on, and never letting go.
Always being there, no matter what
The one you cherish and hold.
Impossible to fake.
Standing hand and hand.
Living every breathe with that special person.
Opening up to others.
Voicing how you feel.
Everything worth living for.

Finding Love
As I walk the same old street,
I come to a sudden halt.
A new anguish with every beat,
Is this pain really my fault?
I continue to look around,
To find that mystical girl.
The one who stops all sound,
And makes my world begin to swirl.
Upon finding this novel wonder,
The skies open up to rain,
And it begins to thunder.
I'm thus released from eternal pain.
I begin living every day,
As though it were the last.
I love her in such a way,
Not even the world is vast.
