These are my show-openers, my Magicians (Tap I, 13 dancers total).
Next came the Bunnies Out of the Magic Hat. They are 3-5 years old "ballet", which we call "Dance Awareness," because what they mostly do is skip around the room to pretty music. (4 dancers total, L-R, Macy, Wendy, Shannon, Alexis)
Doves Out of the Magic Hat. Also 3-5 years old, Dance Awareness. Shown with Mr. Victor, their cadet monitor (9 dancers total).
After the "magic show" we has some "acrobatics." These are the Tip-Toeing Tightrope Walkers and their cadet monitor, Mr. Eugene. This is Kinderballet (7 dancers total), which as you may suspect, is ballet for Kindergarteners.
The acrobatics continued with the Joyful Jugglers (Ballet I, 13 dancers total, pictured with cadet monitor Mr. Dave, whom they were extremely fond of attacking). They actually danced with little bean bags that they threw once to symbolize juggling, and then put on the ground while they danced. You have no idea how many times I had to threaten to take the damn bean bags away if they didn't stop pelting each other with them.
Next came a Sparkling Fireworks display, courtesy of Pre-Tap (yes, 4 year olds in tap shoes). 10 dancers total, pictured are (L-R) Lucia, Hannah, Mattie, and Eliyana.
