Homecoming weekend started with us roommies on the curb of College Avenue watching the wonderful Homecoming Parade:
(My camera doesn't deal well with flourescent lights, but you can pretty much get the picture:)
Apparently, people at our school toss and eat fire for fun! We never knew!:
This is just too cute!:
Since we were being obnoxious little kids yelling for candy, I decided to yell at Batman so I could take his picture. Little did I know that he could come right in front of us and swing his cape at my face!!:
Homecoming weekend continued with Mel and I attending her friend's party at the Meridian...
Laura had to stay home and write a paper that was due at midnight, but we still got her picture:
Here's Mel and I before we left:
Here we are again about halfway through the party...notice the difference..haha:
This is Bob, the host of the party:
Not long after we got there, we were asked if we wanted to try "apple pie shots". Not knowing what she was getting into, Mel tried it first:
After seeing Melanie survive, I decided to try it too (with your mouth held open and back, it's a shot of apple juice, vodka, cinnamon, and whip cream....and then you close your mouth and shake it ridiculously as everyone watches...but it's good!):
Whip cream ended up everywhere by the end of the night, including all over Shawn's face:
Melanie decided to teach us a drinking game called "Klinkers"...very very fun but very very bad if you want to stay semi-sober:
After learning that some of her branch campus friends never wrote the Loop, we decided to head out for a town loop ride across campus:
Since we made friends with the bus driver, Rex, and it was Maggie's birthday, he made everyone say "happy birthday" to Maggie upon entering (and announced that she wanted a lap dance for a birthday and asked for any volunteers):
I got Rex to change the radio station to 107.9 and we had a dance party and karaoke session...
We made so many friends and we loved Rex so much that we decided to take the loop for a second time around!:
Even the people on Beaver Ave. just standing around had to know that "Rex Rocks Our Socks"!!!
We went back to the party to find these free-sylers in the hallway...I had to shake Nick's hand since I took his picture:
After a long night out, we still rose early to get good seats for the PSU vs. Northwestern game. Here's the roommies before we left:
We ended up 11 rows from the field!! You know what that means, I took TONS of pictures of Zack:
We were standing under the stadium hiding from the rain before the game, so we decided to get our picture taken again:
As we were getting our picture taken, I randomly saw Eric! It was such a weird coincidence, but really nice to see him again after so long:
The Lion posed as Indiana Jones during the half-time show, and I somehow got this comet-type thing in the picture.....something weird always happens with my pictures at Beaver Stadium:
A 49-0 victory was a great one, but it unfortunately was SOOO cold and rainy...we still had fun!:
We all stayed in Saturday night, and my parents came Sunday morning for breakfast at 9:30. Then, it was off to the Osteoporosis 5K Walk/Run sponsored by the Dairy Science Club. My Mom and I walked, and my Dad ran...it was a wonderful experience followed by lots of milk:
Olive Garden with the parents and the buying of a new fish since the Apt. Store killed mine with no heat (his name is Zami for ZAck MIlls) topped off the wonderful homecoming weekend, and everything made me realize why I love Penn State so much!!!
